What changes are in the ISO form and what do they mean?

The new forms include some clarification changes but no huge surprises. The revision applies to all three commercial auto coverage forms: the business auto coverage form, the motor carrier coverage form, and the auto dealer’s coverage form. This podcast specifically addresses the changes in the business auto coverage form.

Takeaway

Almost all of these are positive changes that help agents to better match coverages with exposures.  CICs have ample opportunity to get updates on items like this because of their annual update requirement. From a producer's standpoint, these policy forms provide educational and sales opportunities for clients and prospects. They also provide opportunities to take these new endorsements and update agency coverage standards.
