For Mothers Day in March we had a look at Jochebed, a mother that entrusted her son to the Lord as looked at ‘God’s Grace Upon Her’ ... a miraculous moving of the Lord in her life, as she did what she could but, in the end, could only commit her son into the hands of God Almighty. Today is Father’s Day, and today we’re going to look at a biblical character that, while not a dad, see how he conducts himself in connection with his divine call. The focus, then, is that of calling... one’s response to that calling... and the grace one experiences despite the response.
