2021 NY Open Taekwondo Championships Preview

The New York Open Taekwondo Championships and Korean Cultural Festival has been one of the largest Taekwondo tournaments and cultural events in New York State, for over ten (10) years. The event features World Class Sparring and Poomsae, Grass Roots Sparring and Poomsae, Board Breaking, Weapons, and Demo Team Competition. Additionally, this event features the food, songs, and music of Korea-exposing spectators to the culture of Korea, the birthplace of the world's most practiced martial art, Taekwondo. Finally, this event is a charitable event, raising funds for the Julianna Buongiovanni Scholarship Fund. The event will take place on Saturday October 9, 2021 at the College of Mt.
