The main point of today’s message… is that for the children of Israel & their new life in Jerusalem, after years of slavery... had now reached a point that it was no longer about God. It was no longer about their God ordained purpose, it was no longer about their privileged position as the apple of God’s eye, rather it was about THEMSELVES. And THAT is a chief danger that faces the church in the 21st Century today.
