Three times in this chapter the ‘precious-ness’ of Christ is referred to. Firstly in v.4 as being precious in God’s sight… secondly in v.6 Jesus is precious as the Chief Cornerstone... and thirdly it comes in v.7 as it takes the shape of a comparison.
