Gas prices have officially doubled since Biden took office. I'm Peter Serefine with today's Liberty Minute. On January 19th, 2022, the United States was energy independent.  We were a net exporter of energy products.  The national average for a gallon of regular gas was $2.39. Resident Biden is sworn in and immediately cancels the Keystone XL pipeline, stops federal land leases, adds new hoops to jump through, and starts to slow walk permits.  Gas prices begin to climb within days. On Friday, AAA reported the national average price for a gallon of regular gas was $4.819.  That is a new record high and officially more than double the price on inauguration day. "Putin's war" is a convenient excuse, but the facts prove that prices were already soaring before Russian troops started to mass on the Ukrainian border.
