2022e28 - James Long Lerno - Newport Sea Base James Got his start back at Long Beach Crew before rowing at both Orange Coast College and Cal. He then trained and raced with the US National team before an injury caused him to stop competing and start coaching. Now James has coached at Marin, USC, and is not the Executive Director of Newport Sea Base. One of the top coaches in the country, James led his boys to win the 4x in the 2022 National Championship.
