Encouraging us to see ourselves as who we truly are as we are viewed in connection to and underneath the ‘mighty hand of God.’ The mighty hand that delivers – for I am sucked down by the quagmire of sin. The mighty hand that redeems – for I am bound by my own sinful nature. The mighty hand that liberates – for I am captive to my own lusts & desires.
