2023-08-13 The Obedience Of Faith - Brady Robinson

Sermon Text: Genesis 12:1-9 1…, 2…, 2 and a half…, 2 and three quarters… I am sure many of you either heard this in your parents voice or even in your own voice. It is the patient parent trying to get their kid to obey what they are asking them to do. This Sunday we will be looking at Genesis 12:1-9, as well as Hebrews 11:8, and it is incredible the faith Abram had. God asks him to simply trust and obey and the text tells us simply that "Abram went." God did not have to explain, count to 3, or ask again. Abram simply believed. This Sunday we are going to look at Abram's faith and how that led to his radical obedience.
