Summary

We’ve been plodding along through John’s gospel for the purpose of seeing Jesus presented in the fullness of His beauty, mercy, uncompromising holiness & steadfast faithfulness to His Fathers will. This last week of Jesus’ ministry begins with His anointing at Bethany (vs.1-11) while the religious leaders conspire for His death AND the death of Lazarus. This is followed by the triumphant entry into Jerusalem on the back of a donkey’s colt (vs.12-19). “HOSANNA” they cry as the people gather laying palm upon the ground as Jesus enters in a manner fulfilling scripture (v.15 c.f. Episode Description
