Sermon Text: Genesis 14 War has broken out for the first time in Scripture. Lot was caught in the middle of the conflict and ends up being taken. Abram then leaves the comfort of his land and runs to the aid of his nephew, Lot, and saves him. This leads us to meet a mysterious man, Melchizedek, and see God's promise of blessing starting to come true. We also see a king of Sodom interact with Abram, which will lead us to see how Abram stands firm in his faith in the face of intense pressure.
