And he dreams of hopes unspoken, when the tears of men will cease and his mother holds him closely, for he is the Prince of Peace. Jesus, thank you for the peace that you bring to us, that you wish for us. Jesus, I hope you will help us to come back to you today to receive more of your peace. Please give us your peace, which surpasses all understanding. Please clear out our cluttered hearts and our cluttered minds For the countless things today that are not the way I want them to be and the countless things that I have to be thankful today. Help me to choose thankfulness and gratitude again today. Jesus, please lead all of us back to you. Please help us to hear your voice. Help us to see you in truth, beauty and goodness. Please save us from all of our wrong ideas about you, about fatalism, that things are just going to be what they're going to be. Thank you for saving us from the wrong idea about minimizing our choices and their consequences and thinking that you can fix them all anyway. Save us from the wrong idea that you will fix all things in this world and make them the way we want them to be, but help us to know that you have utter sovereign control over all things and that we are in your loving hands and that you love us beyond what we can imagine. Please remind us of your love today. Help us to love one another and to love you in return, in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, amen. I love you so much!
