I think you're crazy, Jesus.. thank you for testing me and reminding me this morning how shallow my peace is, how easily disturbed I am, and so, short a time after waking up, I'm cursing the dog and slamming the door, trying to come up with some pious prayer to you, and I want to sing your praises, and sing the joys of Advent and and recount your victories and your glory, But instead, Jesus, I just need your help to crawl out of a hole that I've already dug myself in. Jesus, please help me to re-center myself on you. Please help me to regain control over my body and my mind and my reactions and my choices, and I do commend to you all of my successes, if there will be any, and all of my failures, which there already are. And, Jesus, I just thank you again for your perfect faithfulness to us. When I stumble, please help me to come back to you as quickly as I can to humble myself before you once again and I just thank you for your goodness that I have to to come back to Thank you for your forgiveness, thank you for never giving up on us. Please help us to open our hearts a little bit wider to you today, to love one another and to love you in return. Jesus, Mary and Joseph pray for us in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
