No one really nurtures me. I understand. I understand. But everybody's journey's a little bit different.
Yo, yo. Everybody's journey's a little different, right? At the end of the day, now the way that it is structured, you can have an IODL and still have college enrollment opportunities. We're talking about this situation, right?
No, no, no, no, and I'm talking about this situation. You can go sign up for this and still go play college now. You got to wait till you do it there, though. OK, that's fine.
You're leaving over here. Just talk to me. Like, if you, if I'm, well, you still go play college, Bob, it's going to be highly, whatever. So what's the alternative college now?
Gee, and we've seen somebody get drafted in the top three from the Gee. So at the end of the day, we have multiple opportunities. You have even overseas now. It's more viable.
So no, hell no. I think that it's in the kid's best interest to be on a professional regimen as early as possible. Let me ask you, maybe this is different because it's a different sport, but whatever rivals did this, what rivals was offering kids out of high school football, and it was like, I can come play professional. No, hell no, they're probably mad that they did that.
They didn't think of it, right? But here's the thing, the level for the guy. Like, you can't put kids that are, but you're going to make it even, though. You're going to have a wide, like, it ain't going to be NFL dudes.
There's going to be college age dudes. It just didn't go to college. They wanted to go play professional football earlier. To me, football definitely has a lot to do with age and weight.
So if we're talking, you make it relatively close, then I'm cool with that. But if you're talking about 190 pound high school kid versus a 215 DB, like, bro, he's going to get hurt. But I still, even, like you said, about 20, 50, still going. Really?
Because we're going to get that experience. So because you can still go back to college. You're going to get the fuck out of here. You're going to get the way to check it.
But I don't know why you can be number one. That's versus I'm going to be 25, 26 in that academy, where you go be number one on campus somewhere. And you're going to make money because I would rather myself than have that experience of being a 25 kids all day. I just think that we keep robbed.
We're in an advanced age in time. We'll get to the show. We're easily willing to lend our kids to grow up so fast when it's like, bro, the best time in your life is when you a fucking kid. Yeah, but not when you're trying to chase a professional.
That's you. That ain't going to go with the kid. No, no, that has everything to do with the kid. The kid makes that decision.
Like, oh, man, I can't think. He was in a slam dunk contest. The time of the life was? That's the best thing.
No, no, no, no. When I went to the final, the tall one. The Sams. Yes.
And he was talking about how his dad said, after every practice, whether it was football or basketball, they went into box jumps. And he couldn't stand it. Like, bro, I just played a game. You got me over here practicing.
And his dad told him, one day, you're going to take me for it. It wasn't at the dunk contest. He put up a value in effort. But at the end, he didn't do shit.
And I was next fan. It was a value in effort. He wasn't a Nick. That's about Jack, now Jack, no, Jack, no.
I want to say Toronto. But when I was in the final, Jack was in the final. Oh, yeah, Jack. You know what I'm saying?
Yeah. But either way, at the end of the day, even Jon Maran's that. And even Jon Maran said, like, bro, if you're going to become a professional athlete, you have to understand that there's going to be sacrifices early on. And you have to fall in love with the process.
That's something Kobe said. And if you're going to be great, you've got to fall in love with the process, even though you may hate parts of the process. You've got to do it. So if that's your dream, this is what it's going to take.
All right. There you go. I hope you all enjoy that conversation. This is a place where sports opinions can lie down in sports.
I'm your host, Ken, at the end. Joining me on the show, we have Nick. What's going on? Jump Jay.
What's happening? Spike Loon. What up, Bill? And FIFA.
What did they do? What up, Ray Sean Davis with early members. I'm going to read this now because these things disappear. But he said, Joker is the best player in the league.
So that's what he said. He ain't going to say, he ain't going to write a read that on Black History Month. The man is a member. And he paid for it.
So that's a money talk, man. It's just a last. But thank you guys for being here at your top sports show on YouTube at night, Dennen Sports at Night Live, every Tuesday at 9pm. Yeah, so we have a couple football topics.
We're in the basketball season, much to the dismay of some of our hosts here. But you know, we get to be stuck. We get to be stuck, but you're going to say the same shit we saying. And yeah, so I think halfway through the season after all star is time to just kind of do a level set of where we are right now.
So we're going to give breakers and talk about Eric Benini being in the game. Yeah, we're going to talk about E.B. E. Bizzle.
We're going to talk about E.B. And we're going to recap the all star. So let's go. Yeah, we're going to get to the NBA shit like we can say.
But first, let's talk about some NFL shit. More so college football should start starting off because one of the legends of the NFL league, a man who they say you can't tell a story of football without. Deon Sanders had some interesting things to say about how he determines who he will recruit and the mentality that he desires from those recruits. And my question to you, I'm going to start off with you, can't because you better start off with you on these shit.
What were your thoughts on what he said on the Rich Eigen show when it comes to the dogs that he wants on his team? What did he say? I think I got a chance to look at it. He basically, I'm paraphrasing, but he basically said, you can look at a YouTube clip because I think I wrote.
He basically said he wants on defense. He wants people from two-parent household. No offense. He wants a two-parent household.
Defense. He wants a single-parent household. You want people to love him? Rich Eigen adds him to his squad.
His draft and philosophy. He said there are five things that he uses to draft. No, he started listening to five things. Then he started saying, well, if it's a quarterback, I want him from a two-parent household, preferably a coach of son, 3.5 GPA.
Strong father in the room. All of a father in the room. Then he said, lineman, same thing. Two-parent household, father around.
He started talking about D-Liamon King. He went straight, slang, rhetoric, and he said, no. We're talking about D-Liamon. He got to be a dog.
Mama, work one job. Dad ain't nowhere around. I'm talking about straight up dog. That's what we need when we talk about the D-Liamon.
And that's what he was telling rich-eyed. Is this your king? Is this your king? He said, all this shit in Black History Month.
This is your king. He basically said that the only way that some of y'all going to get to the NFL is if you got to keep the parents out of the household, and it has to be just mama's only if you're a big boy you want to play on the D-Liamon. That's what he said. There was a study that was done about that about they did this.
The government did this. The only way we're going to give you welfare is if the parent. Yeah, that's what he's saying. That's what he's saying.
And it's interesting, because I would love to know if he thought this when he was at Jackson State, because I don't know if he ever said that when he was at Jackson State. He definitely didn't say that. But man, to say that when you go to a white school. I want a white program too.
Wow. And they was all snicker in the back. They got you in line, bro. They got him in line.
People, how did you feel about that shit? Were you seen it? Did you just watch the clip? Yeah, I watched the clip.
Why didn't Kyle put it in the chat? I can't say that in public the way that you should even think it, bro. Well, here's the thing. I think that's the standard.
I think that he got that line of thinking from the excitement and dabble Sweeney. I think that's how they approach it too. They just would never say that. Because if they said that shit, they fired.
I think you agree with that too, people. They said they're saying they're saying they're saying they're saying they're saying they're saying they're out of here. Yeah, look, look, look, look, I've coached before. You know what I'm saying?
And the temperament of young kids definitely is reflective. For the most part, I can't say it 100% of the time. But depending on how that household is or how that kid grew up, there's a lot that has to do with the mentality of that kid who's going to be in sport. Now, I'm not saying that for me as a coach, I didn't care who came.
You know what I'm saying? My job as a coach is to maximize whatever it is that you bring to me. You know what I'm saying? But at the same time, understanding what the unsaying, the kids that were that had less opportunities in life, those were the ones that I had to corral a little bit more.
They were a little bit more loose cannons on the court and things like that. I would never say, or I'm looking for this in particular because that was never my philosophy. But again, coaching kids from all different types of backgrounds, some kids I had to get on. Like, bro, you can't be soft.
There's loose talking shit. You can't just cower on the court or else I'm going to have you sit here next to me. You know what I'm saying? So to me, all of those things are coaching and teaching opportunities, right?
Like helping kids become men, depending on what they have or don't have. You know what I'm saying? So again, for me, I took it from a standpoint of I feel what he's saying. I wouldn't say that because at the end of the day, give me any kid and I'm going to make them better.
You know what I'm saying? If you are soft, guess what? In practice, I'm going to make it tougher for you. So that way in the game, they can't bully you and get you out your thing.
You know what I'm saying? So there's certain methods that you can use. Like when I put them in pressure moments, you know what I'm saying? Hey, look, we still got 20 minutes of practice.
You all got suicides to go. If my man makes four in a row, guess what? We cut that in half. He makes eight in a row.
We ain't practices over right now. So you got to play mind games with these kids to get them over their opportunities. You know what I'm saying? So again, it's not something that I would advocate and be, oh, I need this.
Nah. If this is just so happens to be a suburban kid, I could work with you. Get the under the fuck off. I'm like, you like way into your philosophy.
I know. And I'm talking about D on that. I'm like, I'm going to do what it's the answer. To be focused on, though, it makes sense because what D on saying is lazy if you look at it.
If you're a coach, what you live on, what you coach for is what FIFA said. Okay, I see the jewel, the diamond in the rough. So I'm going to do these extra things in practice. I'm going to push them this way or do these things approach it this way because this is what I do.
I make coach. We have a microwave society now as where D on especially is trying to make this shit happen quicker than it naturally does. So I think that he heard this rhetoric somewhere else from these white coaches who've been doing this. And now he feel like he could take this way too.
But it's lazy. That's a lazy approach. That's what I was going to say. I posted that accident in the group and I posted it.
I said, give him this bro. I said, don't read that post. Because I was thinking about it. I was like, what out of three?
But I posted it because I kept on with the on it first. I was glad he was in Jackson State. I was glad he was doing well. I didn't like the Colorado move, but I was still rooting for him because he's representing.
I'm like, hey, you know, maybe this will be a step in the right direction for my people. Maybe, you know, maybe some, you know, lighting this cloud, but still I don't need to hear that. I don't care. Don't tell me that this kid is different because they were raised in single parent household.
Don't tell me this kid is better because he was raised with both parents. Ain't got nothing to do with none of that. Characters built within and based off how you were trained and raised and you don't need two parents to raise a good young man or a good young woman. It just takes the right person at the right time and the right type of training.
And every kid is different. Everyone. So you coach them accordingly. Yeah.
And I don't want to hear none of that because I know it's some awesome people that was raised by just their mom or just their dad. And it's some fucked up people that was raised by both parents. I like you. I'm an advocate.
You know, I couldn't believe he was like so openly like just just jovial and saying this and putting them like. I'm feeling like I told you. For me, I've always been like, I've always been like, I've always been, I said it was like I'm, I'm disappointed in it. But when I said, when you said that shit, I sent to some other homies of mine and they and I and even advocates for the hour like, but that's borderline tone shit.
Because you don't say it out loud. I think it was more of like the setting. Like if he, if he came on here and we had that conversation or even if he said it on IM athlete like that's or even on club shit like something like that was like, yeah, it's still kind of an issue or problematic. But you want to black podcast.
You're my family. You can submit to those jokes or whatever. But you want the fucking rich eyes that show make it on Roku TV. They ain't no big or really knowing about the rich eyes of the advocate.
And then like I'm not saying nothing about rich eyes because he going to just try to get the most clicks. But the surrounding I see no more fuckers laughing or shutting down. Like this really looked like some cool shit. And the way you talking, because you know what demographic you're talking about without even saying.
We don't talk about it. You can just like look man, you can just you can see it. You can see it just was evident. I don't need to see everything.
I can see the patterns of what he was doing and how things changed when he went from one place to another like the quote about him being in Colorado. And he said, I love the weather. It's like, if this on dance band I come talking about, I love the weather and there's no crime. It was four weeks, but so I'll fall off police and I stopped down.
Stop it. Why you saying that type of shit, bro? It's like if you're here to help the people then be here to help not be people But your people be here to help your people and to do that You have to counteract certain stereotypes not feed into it because it's how you trying to get these damn kids to come to your school Or because you down a shucking the job She said deon said what large Jesus, yeah, he said it he said it and you know It's just that bro, and they were I don't know it's just like there's no I wasn't disappointed because it's part of the course for me. Yeah, and he's built himself right now, too Yeah, he's he's riding high and I mean he's the other boy So didn't Like it's one thing for you to dominate your field It's another for you to try to you arm or you have a lot of sex success in another field on a different level Mm-hmm and it makes you think that you are invisible or you can do whatever and what you say is gold and and I don't know If he does well in Colorado, then shit, maybe he does have the form of a team, but right now it's alpha It's a bullshit, bro.
It doesn't and and I'll say you know He's doing the right thing as far as building the team by putting coaches around him that know what they doing So his job is gonna be kind of easy and then a white coach's yeah, but he but I just hate How he's looking you gotta get over 500 for him to keep talking shit if you ever find career correct correct 100% Can't keep talking shit 100% I didn't say I'm fitting to keep talking like he taught Your words moving on to another black coach this time hand-in-hand coach OC Eric B No, Rock Cam has left the KC Chiefs to become the OC for Washington Showing was this a necessary move or a desperate move? I was first saying this to us in last week dinner I tried to tell everybody this was a movement and we talked about it and what you were saying I agree with what you said it makes a lot of sense It seems stupid to most but I think for him in his mind It was necessary and to be honest it probably wasn't necessary I didn't say to go to Washington, but to go somewhere else was necessary and the reason being is regardless He was not gonna get in less he was gonna get the position of Andy Reed Hill, which I'm sure it went promise to him Otherwise he would say he was not gonna get a head coach in job from that position because everybody looked at it as if Andy Reed was the public master pulling all the strings he had to go somewhere else where he's in complete control of the Office does not have any pushback from anybody any control and he can prove that he can make moves and make things happen He had to prove that and the only way to do it was to get away from there Was it a deciramoon or an essay move? I think it was somewhat desperate mainly because at the end of the day people want assistance that have the most success now For whatever reason when it comes to be enemy it seems like the goalpost keeps getting moved Or does he call places does he not call places this that and at the end of the day this man has been an instrumental part in In the development of the greatest quarterback that we've ever seen right like he has a part in that regardless if it's small Large whatever he has a part and he's seen that from day to day from the time that they dropped it Until where he is now right like he has a part in that and I feel the reason why I say I take his desperation It's mainly because the scrutiny is gonna be even more now correct, right? And if there's any misstep He was already in a good situation.
There's misstep now you kiss that head coach you job go by but he had No, she already kissed it, but he should have had it ten times by now. I agree so but but but but at the end of the day We know that the cheese are gonna have sustained success We don't know we know We don't see how big Eric B was the case seat because we talk about the Super Andy Reese it that nigga was the one who came up With those plays or called out that play. I don't know if he was throwing that nigga bone He did any reason he got the one that motion motion He said any read was one that figured out now He was I don't know if that was a bone that he threw any read that like to say look What does he did this so you can get some help again? Yeah, or that was true But we don't find out because I don't know who they get but there next I was he ain't gonna be at least when we're talking about Who Tifo brought up as a person who is the foundation for Patrick Mahomes I don't think he's gonna be up that else right in order for him to get what he wanted to be he had to do something It was evident that I said was not working there.
He wanted to be a coach. He didn't want to stay being a corner He wanted to come for something out wrong that fish tank the fishbowl was too big You gotta go out there and fly Okay, but let's say that this is a bad year so they're gonna get rid of But the office looks bad That's the most job in yes, yes For on the rest is in This is a It's desperate man. I feel like that for Eric being in me One shady came out and said when he said on the show he put out there with everybody or didn't want to say When we talk about 13 interviews you're talking about somebody who may not be qualified I know what y'all talking about with his wins and what he did with Casey and he was instrumental with Patrick Mahomes allegedly That played it you're talking about that's an adjustment But when you're talking about building schemes building plays According to shady Eric beating know how to do that according to say he when we were in the lap Limited and like when he was in when it was time to give the input that an offensive coordinator was supposed to give I never heard him talk like that goes a long way and GM's can't come out and say that Does he else can't say that when we're wondering wow? Well, how do you go on 13 interviews and he didn't get a job because he wasn't I think it's fuck shady for saying that shit.
He said why that's from one It doesn't he has yet to prove himself right or wrong yet You're keep on harping on the fact that he's more likely gonna be proven wrong than right It's like you already cutting them before you even the chance like he was just has not been a head coach We've seen other niggas have an head coach position to be shitty from any reached tree And even or even Bellicax tree who's a better coach to any read yet They continue to get coaching jobs and no one really poo poos on they shit But when we talk about someone who has yet to be a head coach you're gonna say he don't really do shit Here's the thing we're talking about a We don't hate that That is what I'm just saying to say it's true he's a hater, but we sit here we want I'll be willing to come back and say I was wrong on this point if Eric Me does prove to be shitty this upcoming season If the Washington office doesn't improve by at least into the mid-level I didn't see a top 15 office with Eric Then but they're not even that then I agree with your point, but we haven't even seen a so why are you saying like They had two segments about him talking shit about Eric B, bro But he trying to build his media name up I assume which he should know another black man Which I do not like however we have sit here and wonder what was going on Eric B And we've never gotten a straight answer. This is the first seemingly straight Jim Caldwell who just came out and said I'm not even looking for no more I don't know People really need to talk about Jim Caldwell. He was the last good thing about Detroit and so this white man He said it and now that's what I'm saying It's a pattern with certain motherfuckers certain reasons that this is a pattern with the league However, if someone's not qualified and they probably try to throw that on Eric B Way quicker than they were one of these white assistants the same thing with not no black guys being hired as he a coaches It's still Man if they went qualified he wouldn't be in position. He's in a way with him games.
What position was that no we're talking about a Staggin position where allegedly he wasn't calling wrong He allegedly he wasn't doing anything that any one of the other office of coordinators did We see him not your higher though To show this point they got it people that know Reed and Pat came out and bought for so you want to listen to what about You want to listen to somebody Spike Sanders over here But I think that gives more credence to what Spike is saying because if you have the main guy that we all know Andy Reed is heralded at least as a second graders coach behind Bella check Correct modern era right and then we have arguably the greatest quarterback that we've ever seen say hey This is the guy like those two guys are saying this is the guy and everybody else is still saying he's not the guy Right, I think where there's no good fire everybody else ain't saying it shady saying it and once again There's no smoke there's no He'll just came out says shady upset that these niggas giving the ball when he was at Correct they said him on the bench he was right there waiting long right on the bed That's why I was like the locker rooms in Rome's here. He's right thirsting right about you Listen to the third stream right about from the source though She's a miss miss him on the bench. He did as much as me and you did for them team I'm from close to Kareem as you can get why we don't know many no comments from the other GM's that have interviewed him for these jobs Here's because he's a black man. Oh, yeah, I'm gonna go You already know that you already know that He's been up for a job all things created because not with his resume right all things created equal he should have got I'm saying that no that doesn't have to be right.
No, it doesn't have to be nothing else besides some stupidity Because what if we were talking about what is you talking about shady saying he gonna be shitty more than likely What if he has a top five What if he turns a wash because watching does have a lot of good pieces? I'm saying what I'm saying. I'm what man. What's been hard.
Okay, and then you go say that I know what but then it goes against everything They were saying because now he's drawing place. So he had to go through all that That's what I'm saying he would have to go through all that to prove one little prerequisites that you have to do before doing so Just tell him he can't design an office which was supposed to be Hold it kick the whole my whole point Who is that as a black man? He has to do so much to prove once my point That's my father said he's gonna be good or not He still has to do so much to prove one point and regardless if there's other black coaches getting here They still do the same shit to all of us I do you want that he went from the best franchise in the NFL like the best position He possibly could have been in to the worst nail they're asking to have to win to have to get a job like you said I think it was a necessary move out of desperation Correct Credit you make it one ten titles and they would have said that he ain't do nothing It's very racist it has been racist. I have liked you spike question whether not it was him and how he interviews in this arc Only ESPN they said they liked his president how he presented ideas during the interview of course He's gonna say that because they hired him But you know I think The root of it all is this You guys mentioned moving to goal post you guys have mentioned but other named plenty of other players that didn't call plays They got jobs and that's where Regardless of how he interviewed what happened to him was rooting the racism period, you know So I'm sure these other guys were not that good.
I'm sure just sadly they just gave him a job He had never coached with a Danish like right not a head coach. Yeah, so they just gave him a job So the next point he shouldn't have to do all these things to get a head coaching job It's a it's sad that he had to make this not remove It's actually actually fucking terrible that if you like he had this move But I want to make that move because you want to a worse situation We've seen historically where plenty of coaches were elevated to Coaching jobs just by being part of a win a franchise a hack it Look at the Patriots. They got a new so McVey ain't got a job. Yeah, so yeah, it's all rooting racism I just hate to get to do this but I think this is gonna be none of it.
He's not going to see here and That's the last we're gonna hear of every being I got hope I got hope of anybody's in black people I'm gonna say you don't have a top 15 offense. We got it. You got to but they're not part of the good old boys Red skin is the same house. He's done.
Go to he's not me and he's not part of good old boys. Okay, so he's not here We get that job Jim car wheels not so they can't get these jobs that are out there We talk about you know you mentioned early about the blackhead coaches that were hired since I'm like which ones were hired Mmm name really you could say um Row what's the name top of our top of all got a job, but he was standing there with with Bruce Arian Demico Ryan's was the hottest name out there so you know I'm glad he got the job But Texas how everybody but it is doing thing pretty high black black black That's because they got it. I gotta make up awesome and once they hire before my books This is finally a decent hire, but that's it. That's it That's the book stops there.
You can't name anybody else cuz Mike Tomlin been there forever And he's been on a hot seat according to a lot of people forever just Nick I'm not the person that got my time. I can't talk the water to the stars 1970 still as well Was hoping for a black head coach. I talked to the streets Maybe say some other shit. No, but yeah, that's that's just getting any hide you right in the sand and Jim car was comment to my What for my reading eyes?
Y'all correct me for wrong what he was saying was I'm not thinking about no he had coaching job I'm thinking about the job that I'm currently in I'm not going to make sure my life been on my ass about So you gotta say you happy with you at so he worked on a palace. Yeah, he's a special He's trying to make up for the lost on They've had a bunch of black people Yeah, so they they're putting people in place black under right So all right, well, we'll keep out there all more stuff doing on with NFL as we come through as a Next week or March 7th is the last day to franchise tagging all the shit So yeah, so we'll see what that had ideals with Lamar and other people going on to the NBA Because I remember a day when back in my day But also I can be like one of the best events in sports bro Like we barked me and Jordan and all of them was playing like yeah, they are you like from Friday to Sunday when they went off He was glued dunk contest three contests all in a rookie game. This is a trash They tried it like very Again, yeah, it was it was it was some bull all the way through from beginning to end LeBron didn't play the second half. I think that was calculated.
They said it was her, but I don't believe none of it Did you see how you heard of so? Yeah, look what I'm like here hard. Yeah, like like his pinky got real bad I still don't wait I think I was a regular season game You're the place but I'll start game It could be broken shut about Because he had all right rich I see now watch that game here He should even play not hard against the bull's they shitty, but do y'all think it's Differentships that makes it like that's a part of it. That's all I've been hearing on all the talk I don't think it's that I think it's just more like what's the incentive?
I think it's friendship because even how they changed the format of day was they were just you who was drafted last like Yeah, that's the culture that we live in they don't want to know that has nothing to be done No, not to the it has to do with the players. That's just a culture that we live in they might just go get more PC No, I think with them is they've been competitive though because like people said they've been training since five years Oh, they don't have no social life But I think back maybe the timeframe that I'm talking about if you had a Jordan or whoever they weren't afraid to upstage each other Yeah, but that's it was a scary Where's that bread from right like and I raise this? Society like they said it was a side exactly y'all let this shit happen all the 90s niggas that be talking shit y'all let this era happen I Know where this started where this has everything to do with the internet You go ahead and Just let you know I'm against what you say, okay, that's cool But look the internet made the world smaller and in turn now all of these kids that play AA you tournaments guess what like me You are best friends like I don't even know you and I've seen your highlight tape then all of a sudden me and you play against each other And now we become best the friend and talking on the phone So technology made the world a lot smaller replace these AA you kids are now friends all of the cream of the crop like they all are I know what age range are you saying like what demographic are you saying? That's why I didn't know what I'm saying what year are you saying like after this year this one to me to me We started seeing it with LeBron's crew that came in because LeBron and Carmelo because they played on high school together or against each other But they knew that they were up there play soft against each other you say um no But I think that it was a microcosm of that wave of basketball player because that that is the social that was the introduction to the social media Player they want to get you to the but I don't think they're trying to like rip to each other hard out You don't think that Larry Burt and that Magic Johnson like that era with two people who were basically surrounded by each other and kind of They didn't even work with each other but they got course with each other down the line.
Yeah, even even when they was with the championship But down the line as adults like this is my story that show story. It's cool that you know I'm saying in between the championships. They were still like it was cool. That was gorgeous Listen to what I'm saying was off the court right they did grow to be cordial, but they still didn't get it Like I ate each other on the court exactly I want to rip your heart out I don't want to win it.
They know each other since college right? They can say that they know each other since college. But these kids know each other since six seven years old eight years old I'm saying is this a span of time when niggas went out each other one titles and still had that dog You know I give it in that same area with the brown and they went at like D-way We're talking like like like I would get into the generation because the brown image eyes, right? Yeah, so the generation The broadies are coming up.
Yo, yo kids and all these other mama. Yo kid. He gonna be just like that. No No, my household's gonna be a little different, you know what I'm saying like look it We see and we see some young cats coming to the league like that.
John Morat you think he that man every time you're trying to Look on everybody, right? That's an entirely that his father instilled and words has that same mentality So we're seeing some of these youngians with that mentality, but it's fewer and further between now, you know I don't know the ball Huh? No, I don't know if that has something to do with the dad being in the household But I know to a degree you know what I'm saying like if you have that father figure that's gonna tell you hey This is gonna be tough, but it's gonna be worth it's gonna be tough. It's gonna be worth it and that son goes through it We're seeing that a lot of them and again.
I'm not just saying the ones with dads. There's other great ones LeBron had no dad LeBron have a father People You know what I'm saying at the end of the day we're seeing We're seeing the John Morants, you know say we see the words and those guys have a different mentality. They're not soft out here I don't want to stand now. They've never played with a different fervor.
I feel like I guess in the softness Oh, she is She knows it too and to I was made a LeBron for blocking his shot. I think What we talked about I mean I think the thing is more about incentives, but there's no really good incentive now Because everybody was the incentive back then I think no one was really making that much money as they compared to now I think also the rules were different than it are now So it doesn't even if you can't even be that aggressive like you would be back there because otherwise they'll call it foul And it's the all-star game, so it's not even that deep but I think that's the generation. Yeah, it's not even that deep Bro we play I'm putting you down That's what makes him go is the fact that he's ultimately competitive he'll give we sit in this chair He's gonna be trying to compete with us First on his only one Mike. No, I like those on the bus tickets in the 90s like Michael Elevated his peer group.
Yeah, so if I'm the one if I'm the alpha in here talking about I'm shit on you I'm a shit on you and you are relative. Oh, you're gonna do you say it's not that people you won't come with it No, you gotta be fucked up and now he raised the level of everybody that he's playing against the difference is that there's not a guy Like like to me LeBron is not that personal I will keep you down south while he turn up, but he's not trying to turn everybody up Do we haven't seen like to meet John Moran is somebody that he'll talk shit and he'll turn up to Russell Westbrook back when he was a little bit more fish He talks shit and turn up to Dremon. You know some of the greats do that Nick. We're not seeing the greats do And here's the thing I think y'all just do me He don't know how to talk shit.
Yeah, you're like y'all just brings that energy It just he don't bring it out of you as a competitor because what if like you're gonna be like you're like skin It's not even too much He can't put he can't got enough culture into the top real shit They get somebody yeah, he can't get the words out like that but overall the recap of the NBA also We can was cheeks. Oh, yeah, I think the biggest thing was my mclung the dunk contest breath the white man when it don't contest Brother that's all even left this shit happened And he had the best don't Yeah, the Jericho soon guy I need to get him a fuck He was a second round he looked like he just he just got Stuck the head Got some hops so I figured he would do good in the dunk contest not knowing he does all he knows I know him Yeah, why when I saw him on the list I asked like why does he on here? I said he's gonna do some crazy is that young beyond Jordan? All you do is just jump.
Yeah, yeah, nothing I don't know why him and Julius random was even in the bill I don't know Jesus Randall should have had to pay admission to get an all-star 3.5 And also And also He should have been a 3.5 He could get a ticket he could be a guy with a bar for what about talking to him No, no, no, no, no, no, no I don't want to hear Nick talk about his bad guy Joe for no more I never say that as a But he's productive as hell Is hell or he just got to look at the numbers he production was a kind of sort of Kind of Oh Like it's a man that man you could have like I said the concession stand man in the 3.5 Is over here. I would be I would be I would be the man's come out there I forgot how many horners players represent That's my biggest in dunk contest I'm sure I'm sure We was resting during the all-star That's the way I stay asleep That's what it is. Did you see the halftime show in Utah? They've been bugging by that because they were doing like half a week stuff Yeah, I think they could do something about the dunk contest like let's say You know, I got out of YouTube.
They got a red cotton Listen, they got out of loot YouTube and the famous doctors out there. What if job pictures players LeBron pictures players I picked his player and they was representative. I don't care for that because first of all LeBron It's even a Smith is right LeBron for the dunk contest. I want to talk about niggas that yes He is right Michael Jordan played in the dunk contest cuz Kobe participated what we know about Don't make choices.
We know about all the niggas right what LeBron was teasing us for Backings pause on being in the dunk contest and never did it right? He knew we can't now That's why niggas like Zion. Oh, John who else big big name niggas. That was a start I don't know which again goes back to the point that I was saying that I don't copy with the LeBron.
He's a dad just like you right? He knew on Saturday night. I'm bringing it all and I'm from the witness everybody else did Kobe D Like you said Jordan everybody else knew I'm from the walk in here I'm winning this rock. I'm saying like I didn't had any of him I agree with a non-gomist player.
He just didn't had any his person that I agree in the YouTube is I think they're a Red Conant just like get NBA out of here just having an MBA city and that year That will get all the best dunkers to come to that city or whoever's in that city and we'll be Make the players a judge and just make the make the old dunk contest winners be the judges That way you can just rotate on it like so because it's not Starting Opie the fans judge I think they have to offer more money Right, I think they need to offer like a million dollar purse or like a million cash for you a million for your Organization charitable organization, but here's the thing I think If you if you can't figure out how to get the stars, then it's a dying. It's a dying thing It's a dying contest because that contest above all else is pushed by the stars You know say now can you have like every other year even every year like a guy that you never knew like fuck It's but what would a fuck noob sweat wake a really dunk like that until he actually went into the dunk contest and when it gets Dominique and beat Dominique you know what I'm saying So like can we have surprises every night again? Yeah, but we need the Dominique's we need the John Moran's We need the names because that's what's gonna bring that fervor back to it Go find some more than white boys. Hey, not a lot of people like Matt I'm never cloned for that thing down, bro.
Hey, but he was dunking over two white boys Yeah, I've been a fan of Mac McClung ever since high school, you know Say he went to Georgetown. He bought out at Georgetown and then he transferred Texas Right he bought he been bought even in the Geeley. He was Geeley rookie here. He signed a little I thought he was with go to state they wanted to keep him.
Yeah Go to say one of the people that he went to the lake is like he's just been jumping around But at some point he's gonna be a mainstay you know say because not to get too long into Mac McClung He was just a combo guard right and at his height. It's like bro. You can't really be a tool Like I can jump with them here everybody, but you're not really a two. You got to get better at point guard And that's really what he's been doing.
So I've been following back Mac McClung He's one of those guys, you know, um, I can't uh, quitterly, you know, I'm saying that played recently at Alabama There's a lot of guys that I follow Matt was one of those dudes. It did not surprise me. It's a prize me He was in it because it's something that he's going to do something to me that lineup is what it was in line up It was probably a little bad dunk on those bad and and and after this there needs to be a family me There needs to be a family mean about all these black folks that just lost his conversation to fucking Matt McClung I don't give a damn how well he could dunk somebody shoulda ran out there and talked to that Just so that shit went happening. Oh black and sweet yep.
Josh is taking his chain off You know, it's crazy when they brought out Harold mine. I'm like, oh Everything what like big and choky out, you know, I get it, but damn I remember you retired You know that well he was tired early. I remember that I see the thing about it was the hair of mine had been around during the social media age You've been at the capitalized more because a lot of people the flashes like that. He was he was that yeah I should I remember them 360 cuff joints with the left first Jack Carlo not his brother.
Hey, bro We ain't got damn trouble All right, I'll start we can retire it Good first round But he's got tired after that you couldn't keep up. You know, what was interesting? He was trash The white boy that they move from the Hawks to the Kings harder hurt. It was true.
He was awful I don't know this was something that the first time I've ever seen I've been watching you know all start We get for a very long time now he shot the ball it would watch if it went in or not Yeah, what the hell are you doing bro? He was on the pressure. He understand Yeah, he was taking 55 in the press nobody no No, no press me period, but I like the one I want to him and Jalen have that was a girl was Approve you a better player. You know what Jalen is not the better player Jalen has the more killer mentality But Jason Taylor from a skill set is the better Nine times out of ten over Jay state especially when it count I don't know about that we seem to game six Elimination gang with a state of did a I see what you're the brownest.
I trust him. I don't know what I did That's close. I wish I could say yes, but I elimination game. You don't show up.
Come on, bro This this is the year that Taylor like dogs. Oh, this is the year. Yeah, you see and all the mister conference finals This is the one. All right, let's get to it.
Let's get to it. Let's get to it I came here for a reason shit. We ain't gonna beat barely no more I came here our top fives. We always use you have good debates good list.
I'll use interesting discussions on the list for everybody And I make sure I put in the chat twice. Yeah, I think it's new. We was doing appreciate it I think it's in the first one but I forgot We had to do a list. Oh, so I broke it down.
We're gonna do our top five players at each position right now Because after all start I think we got like what 23 games left with regular season Quick We make a rock though But um, yeah, we do a point guard shooting guards forwards and centers even though these days is barely any centers I'm I'm I'm a small for that part for it. I'm not putting them I was gonna say we do for but I like but that's too close. Oh, you just did for us. Yeah, I did fours and bigs I got five beats and point guard for what's the reason and see it's yeah, I just my fault for that part for it There's a difference in my opinion.
I Guess we're gonna do whatever is no big as big man is that that's the top five So let's start with them since I think it's gonna get all convoluted and shit the centers or bigs So I so you're gonna go here. Yeah, five I actually have centers on my list. I'll go from five to one I'm not gonna go all the way around cuz I don't know everybody else list is but at number five give me click a pillow Um, he I think he's like top seven in PR and number four give me the Andre and number three give me bam out of bio and number two Give me a bead and number one. Give me Joker.
Wow. Mm-hmm This ain't a good thing Okay I Just did bigs and I have it five well honorable mention ever mobile and then I got some bonus posca I see a cam Joker and be in the eyes those guys don't even I'm on the same list Go ahead. Yeah, I did center. So I have Mobley Bam Aton Joker and MB I just did big so I had a bam marketing in B Yannison Joker was crazy is that I told y'all to do forwards and centers and y'all still just did big All right, right, do you have another vote?
Yeah, I got another four so you have ten beats What about four weeks my four is a powerful is that it's like so I kind of me so you got ten folds Yeah, actually no one of them you should have ten on me if you did I For me for my centers at five I have the Andre eight and at four I have Christoph Przingis at three. I have bam at a bio to I have Joker and one half and E Alright, so moving on power forwards for me, you know you separated for instance my boy. I always to read all ten years Okay, so power forward obviously I have them five through one But obviously different categories so power forward and number five I got Lori marketing and number four I got Zion Williamson And number three I got the Montes subonus number two I got Pascal C. I come in at number one I got Anthony Davis and then for small forwards at number five I got Jason Tatum and number four I got KD and number three I got Luca and number two.
I got LeBron and number one I got y'all this You don't Let's watch the next game you guys points and twos little you guys I got three's this is my small four's at five I got butler you had no power for us. Okay, I just did big five I got butler if what I got quite like a three I got KD to I got LeBron and what I got ten Katie I mean Kawhi and playing two years, bro. I mean played a couple games this year. Yeah, I'm a bottle low key Yeah, I'm not saying he has it but to be top five, bro.
You're not available at all Was playing he was like Yes, he's playing Um, so yeah, I did just for so small four power four so I have Because you I remember that big ass discussion we had he out there actually put up numbers Anyway, now give me a subonus give me a Katie Tatum LeBron And us An assist We got you like the trade now That's a ball of earth, how about Because I was called crazy and I understood that and I was like now I still thought it was working it actually is so I'm surprised But that was yeah, I was just joking all about coosman. They got mad My father I did for was he's a small force for me Paul George I'm a five you want a five one. Yes, the Rosa Katie Tatum in LeBron For four words. I just had all four words in this one F5.
I had Julius Randall F4 I had Jason Tatum three LeBron James two KD one y'all Anybody We had the premium position now. This is where we go start hook us all y'all. I got the list right he's about one person years I got two people actually One man, so for me number five shooting guard is clay Thompson number four We got we don't shoot right now. Yeah, we go ones now.
Oh, you are going to buy ice over that number five I got clay Thompson we got a little number five. I also have five five five. Mm-hmm. I got James Carter I'm changing my own good bruson.
I think what bruson point guard any But that didn't add him in there. He's pointing on start to change it, but I had I had joined pool at number five. Yeah You had Number five I have James hardy. I just heard number five and number four have Anthony Edwards I could be wrong when I was rushing.
I was not all day good. Don't do that We got a number four sugar. Go booker. That's cuz you've been out Yeah, you got here Anthony Els For for me give me Devin Booker and at number three give me Jellin bro number three.
I also have J. L. Mar Devin Booker Anthony Elwish Number three I have Devin Booker number two. I have Jalen Brown number two have Jalen bro.
Mm-hmm And me Anthony Elwish number two. I have spider And number two I got Edward and number one. I got mr. Spider We got a one of you son of a book.
You got book at oh my gosh. I got book at number one. He missed a lot for me That's only not I came from the day. I broke my luka.
I need it keep it. He got killed by luka Damn, I think fully healthy books still no one in the league. No, he got a book that he come back No, and he got a book that closed and he gonna lead the team with Katie We Lead that team with Katie I got the adventure one out of two And I don't want to talk brown could have been the boy Brown is better. He's the best player on the Celtics, but that's what I agree with you I think it's the best player on the cell to turn the more team in his I think number one on it.
They are the more. Yeah, right? So what about a lot of them to me? I again I don't I love Jalen Brown's mentality and I think that's the edge he has on Tatum He's just not a more skillful player than take but even if he even if we do have that debate to me He's he's the top level player.
He's a top level player on the top team That's the only reason I kind of consider him like kind of putting him up there It's they don't even don't even use his talents as best of his abilities So that's why to me. That's like I don't really you can't compliment him if he doesn't even use it like that He uses it is just in those moments the same way that we question LeBron at times like taking it to that proverbial next level You know he's had enough failure and big moments The why I agree that this is the year now like there's there's no more excuse, you know, so you never been there Okay, cool. You're young. Okay cool.
Like you've been there done that It's kind of like how it was with him be the year that they lost the Toronto, you know, say when Kawai hit that shot It's like yo, okay cool. We know your talented are you gonna take it that much more serious and we saw a different And be we saw a dominant in B. So at this point, that's the last step Jason needs to take We'll see I don't know, you know the playoffs will let us know I wish he was on a different team because I feel like a James Harden when he left okay see The niggas really appreciate oh damn this nigga was actually pretty cold and probably better than most of the niggas on that I think Jaylin's up there though. Obviously I have a third best shooting garden I mean so Number five we've got our guard from your position for me position I'm interested to see how many people have this particular player on their list boy and I was looking at it I'm like yeah, he's definitely ascended shay go just I was Andrew number five He and wasted in okay see not being wasted.
It's not being wasted. It's just the timeline again paid So it's not going absolutely wasted, but he's getting wasted in okay see carry carry in number five. Yes. Yeah, that's a good Drake five Make me little I'm what you believe you put him in at least now yet.
I got um shaggy this at five And number five I got bruh bruh Jalen Russell hey It's not because he's a niggas look at his stacks right here say top five point guard bro. He's gonna be cooking niggas he's not better than she he's not better than she he's I I call him a bum on the don't I think it's been hairs Yeah, I'm gonna say this but hairs and I grew with Nick and the reason why I grew them cuz they went in games because they Top six in the East by what yeah, they win in games because he's winning those games He is their big players too, and it ain't even close is what the next man missing He's on the best NBA contract in league probably the last five years look it was on the bad, bro Number four is being a white man. I got look at look at Dodges for mm-hmm. Wow Well, it's my turn in on this dick.
We hold on. I'm gonna knock me up and look for 20. Thank you for giving a step career Huh? He said he's a wild and he will put stuff at four step has been hurt man.
All right. It's two times You just told me Okay, right, that's why I couldn't put this like solo. Yeah, okay, got it I had book him all his too, but I couldn't put him at one cuz he was hurt. I guess I'm putting up with you SGA shot and number four.
Yep. Number four. I have his EA number four too. My number four is Kyrie Irving at number three John number three for me Damn time.
Thank John. I had jobs as well I forgot about John I forgot about job No, I forgot about job I put Kyrie at three mmm and I put Kyrie at three because I wanted to be above Lucas I realized it's kind of he's gonna be the number one guy I think he's buried in this one. No, no, no, but I will take out. I will take out Kyrie and I'll put John I respect job even though job and talking hella shit naming back on a rebutted in bronson, huh?
You say what Kyrie better than Bronson this season. Yes, that's debatable Over the season I'll take Russell over Kyrie you can say the links for yourself He's been close to everything. I need to do you know that's pretty but you're anything I need to do it But I hear you don't say Kyrie a bad bitch. Yes, it's different.
I'm gonna get my eyes regardless Okay, but number two I have a job ran number two. I have stuff Kirk number two. I have day Luca job name for number two. I'll head separate people.
Yep. Number one. I got stuff. I got look at no more Curry look up dang Name the best one got you.
He's a By the time he got it. He does he does the most with the least Damn people damn you put down like Travis Henry that NBA as well Yeah, then you put you put them on any other squad that he that we talk about he went in title Yeah, they might think is the is the ultimate key to teams that you know are looking for championship Like I've always said if you're the if you're a guy like named stature You can't win it being the best guy like it's impossible right because you can't affect the game physically enough You know I think I love this was a soft lead step did he yeah This is not up but stuff had guys to impose their will physically who can't he dream on your clay This last time around dream on that was it Vigance doing input wiggens. He wasn't posing as well. Yes, physically.
No, he was too. I mean I would yes wiggens wise Was showing the disparity like you can't guard me you can't go Yeah, I'll put you like this Iggy got wiggy that damn contract because he was in here with it Bro, it really like equal dollar raised wiggens played throughout the entire playoffs. Yeah, I don't think Steve Kurt talk to him Hey, hey, I'm talking to you boy. He really did you yeah, he raised his level.
So that's the MOS Little guys they always need a couple of guys that physically can impose it because you just you just can't over the course of a 48 minute game Yeah, you could dominate stretches, but you're not body and somebody you're not getting the block You're not you know moving somebody that you need to move so to me That's that's one of the biggest and diamonds with Portland is that they just have not been able to get the roster right around Dane not how they had talent yet. See you my column was great effort and Simon's I love him, but who's nirchages not the guy You know, so they haven't had a guy again between that six six to six ten range that can just go get a bucket Go get you know go get multiple defensive stops They haven't had that guy until they get that guy they're not gonna win shit and at this point You might as well just trade name and get everything that you can that one go having because he wants to stay so yeah It's any point and the thing about it is with them. I know we say it's automatic championship We don't know that for sure cuz we don't know how well he plays with others or how well he would play in a different city We just don't know we hope you could mess well not being that guy look We don't know that but you're right though. I think he plays well with others The Marcus I'll just eight when he was with Portland Name is not a greedy player unless he has it going the way, you know, not necessarily greedy No, not necessarily meaning greedy, but you got to know how to pick your spots And if you never had a player to play off you like that where it said that level You don't know when okay now it's time to turn it on That's the question about like a Luca and Kyrie you got to know when it's your turn and when it's my turn Well, here's the thing right like I don't think CJ's ever been at the level of day But CJ, you know, if he maximizes everything he has he's all star, you know, saying not a superstar I know French I swear, but he's definitely a long star He's definitely a second or third best guy on the championship team and we've seen them take their moments, you know And again when I say that name is not a he's not a selfish player You know I'm saying and I've always said this about them He's a he's a pure point guard because he knows when to take over game and when to pull it back Let me get my guys involved But all of that being said like if you swap him and James Harden to me, you know, Philly Philly their title odds go up Because because not worth it about a guy that is more consistent at this point in his career than James Harden in terms of scoring and getting other people involved If we look at you swap out any of the J's in Boston where there is Tatum or Jalen you add names to that situation So me that elevates that squad you looking at if he goes on the walk of him and Giannis, you know Say like that elevates so to me damn at this point in his career is definitely an elevator You know I'm saying like he just doesn't have that other guy All right as we transition before we get to the super chats and all that can I want to talk about one story that you just sent to me That's just happen breaking news as far as in Atlanta They let go of Nate McMillan as a head coach for the Hawks a lot of people I eat top 12,000 say that that's because the Trey young possibly may have some Yeah And here's at the end of the day the proof is not in the pudding them boys are 10 games behind fine You know when especially for the last two years the Hawks have had high expectations especially after they made it to conference Championship, you know I'm saying like it was okay Well now the Hawks have taken that step and it seems like every year from that is they're just taking a step back And if you're a star player and that head coach and getting along this we're gonna go go go that coach every time though He came in and turned it around he did but I think it's one of those things where I think you so so so the critiques that I had a big make make million is this the line-ups don't feel right?
Like I don't think he ever really had a true grasp on the line-ups I don't think that I think his voice was a new voice Which is why he was able to turn it around but I think he got stale real quick and you look at the places Nate has been That's typically the high-mo you know what I'm saying so and also I think that he was good for a young team But now that this team has tuned them out They definitely need somebody else now One of the names that I seen that they're looking to replace them with is Quinn Snyder I think that's a good look that's what because you look at what quitsider was able to do in Utah He can replicate any parts of that here That's gonna be a top-ten office top-ten defense because we have the requisite pieces We just don't have the structure to make sure that it operates in that way So I definitely quit Snyder if somebody I seen a couple other names But to me that would be top of list because he fits what the Hawks are trying to do moving forward Can we think about the fire? Well Nate was talking about retiring So I guess you know He just really won't fucking with Trey and this is the second time that somebody has been let go Do the tray was the first time Who was it? Quits nighter would be a good replacement a good hire based on what he was able to do in Utah my thing is we have to look at Trey because if Quinn Snyder who has managed to coach well and you talk on me and you still have issues then brothers you just a What that be for coaches? Yeah, yeah, and quitsnighter.
I don't know much about him But I don't recall him having like issues with players like that. So I don't know. I don't know I don't follow you talk like that So there may be issues, but that's my thing So if they hire a quitsider he comes in and it's the same shit, bro No players you bro. Yeah, yeah that point, you know I think Travis to link has a really good pulse on the team and is not scared to make the requisite moves I definitely think I'll move on from Trey if they hire somebody like quitsnighter that does not work But at the same time and I'll talk to a lot of my coworkers regarding this right like I think What Trey Young will be best at is Go to state 2.0 meaning that he has to come off the ball a little bit more Which is why I think that they brought in the issue That was the big part of the issue that he wasn't willing to do and that was part of it He didn't want to come out the ball and that was part of the friction That's where that friction came from true, but also the Hawks don't have a an offensive system that trade with trust that it's gonna Get on the ball off the ball.
You know what I'm saying? And here's the thing I don't think that it's like all the time that you look who the link you got at they just signed from the Spurs the Johnson I'm not saying like you know make the jante the pseudo point guard and make Trey young the two But when we look at go to state like Steph knows when he gives up the ball But the ball is working to come back to me, you know and I don't think Trey has that type of trust in what? Nate had going on and I think that when we look at what quitsnighter was able to do with that you taught team the ball Didn't move now in stretches down to the Mitchell dominated the ball. That's their best player You know and I think that any great team even go this day when stuff got it going Give me the rock and then okay cool you double team I'm gonna let it go and boom boom four five six seven passes And I got the ball right back and and that team plays like that that team plays for the hot end And I think that the way that this team is constructed They got to put that type of step the coaching staff has to get the trust of Trey that if you give up the ball I promise you you gonna get it back.
He got to have that type of trust. I'll say this New coach next season. I give him a full season. They don't shit turn sweet if they're not like the top six They got a trach and trade they got again Probably gonna be request a trade before the end I'm just saying like to give a good evaluation of Trey and this new system that is about to get implemented I'll give it a full season But if that only good that season bro, you get rid of everything and it's not to be interesting to see where he may get traded to That would be interesting, but I also prove that Atlanta fucked up Make sure to grab the looker and instead of doing this goofy shit trying to get to Because you got a two pair of That's the problem I don't think I don't think the looker will be as successful here as he is in Dallas I'm just saying like the game without Atlanta took from backfire because now we see a superstar in Dallas To granted whatever you call it I think Luke was gonna still be at least a good to great player in Atlanta and Atlanta try to get what they got two Draft picks out of that and they both aren't even on the team anymore No, the other one was um was hurt was under The one I play that do because camera can't So so the worst case scenario is both of them or you give up on in a five to six years span That's like I mean they got to a ECL So they've been as far as you know me shit You're trying to prepare to look good.
He's gonna start a while you think that he wouldn't have been coaching coach Coach and coach and Ross construction Every of them probably down near the same team Look at people in other numbers middle row and going shit Yeah, I see I can see training in Miami if they want to make sense spicy What they give it up. They not giving up any of the big stars. Thank you. I'm a hero Yeah, give it down here a couple of traffic's I don't think the Hawks will take the title hero in Atlanta hell no Now I think it'll be really trade a James Harden for trade It's not Maxi yeah, I'm a maxi that may be more like sugar get my clone No, I think it would be interesting to see if trade does get traded what team bites at that thing on drugs because they got all of them awards Yeah, if I'm a bit of a bridges that'll be a nice pair.
I like that Brooklyn team. Yeah, I like I like the moves that they made They got rid of some big name players, but you get a nice home. They push back the whole little Rebuilding thing to do this whole Kyrie KD experiment and now they write back to it It was not a better position than where they were at before Kyrie. Well, I mean with draftics now But I'm just saying like they have a young talent and rapics right even with talent bro.
They had young talent there Yeah, but they have more of it and we're talking about that's how I think that most of that talent is gonna stay on I feel you can't pay everybody but but you have young talent with size You know to say and a beautiful thing about where Brooklyn is at you got to pay market value, right? And none of these guys are gonna really average 25 again So you're not gonna pay superstar money to retain a lot of these guys You're gonna pay them a lot of middle level type of contracts four-year fifty-some million You know what I'm saying? So you can keep more of those guys and go get you a superstar and or trade because now you got the draft compensation to go make a move So I do I really do like where Brooklyn is at like I've watched like two or three games after the trade And it's just like I like they come away. I like they're not gonna beat you like starting lineup for starting lineup But we start going to seven eight nine and ten bro like they're way deeper than you like they can outrun you you got to see what I do One of the places I would trade to would be watching to for rather be in a pit because you already got your point guard You had a building every time shit, bro.
No, but you guys like a conversation around the building We're something in Washington that you like to stay in and do some with me I think I had multiple chances of the lead watching it'll be the same shit here. I mean shit There's more time here and just turn the team over murder. Yeah, there's more time here We'll young quick college football top y'all see how Notre Dame doing Freeman dirty losses Oh, see the banner they won't pay top dollar for a new lc made him elevate his tight end coach setting him up to fail I hate Notre Dame, but that's what yeah I'm a little bit long. He could have took over you see Free because he was on the he was on the staff.
That's what he left But I mean shit, I'm room for I am too like you I mean here come out the gate good He's a good you know, no, no, you give me another bill dog because he came out losing games Just the most shit But he made up for it in the middle of the season towards the end They want him about the paint this is on they got to get him up out of there and if he has one more if he has A get some top 15 this upcoming season. He could probably stay full of the wrong. They don't yeah, Ty will him So that's what I was like man fucking my folks, bro Let's see what else we got here Drink more water. Have you seen those little mellow ball driving out of the hornet parking lot videos?
You won't go almost got in the crash after running the red light nice cars though. Hmm. What is he talking about? So I ain't seen it.
So nice. You got some lips though He tried out out every game there's different cars and stuff that he they do it some similar with different book It's he driving crazy. They haven't seen how you know that story so we'll need to do it. Yeah, they're a bookers with game is Definitely nice.
I just won't pull them up. Interesting All right, no, I have not seen those but I'll be curious to see what they are Tweets open doors should they scrap the game entirely and just have a one-on-one tournament or the players who scared to get beat on that If you want to get scary A way that may make it better than they cared is like how to get a chill dude each conference You did it and then played them on Saturday night in the final Sunday So like you had four different teams all sorts of one conference all soft divisions. Excuse me each division One night that you sit on the side of the key I thought back in the day. There wasn't one-on-one game between It was horse.
That's what it was a phone. Okay. Who is she horse? Okay?
Rob Costa we need a dent sports dunk contest On this court Jeez My kids over napkin right now That would be funny though. Yeah Kev Shelton do you still think LaMello is better than Ant at worst? LaMello did have the higher upside in my opinion. He doesn't put in work I really you all talk about it all the time I'm driving out the park like you just talked about he's wanted that Then he is putting in the basketball where he needs to put in work She was just a need to put in work.
Yeah, you know, man He had too much fun and I want to play basketball basketball should be his focus and they try to say it He's a function away say who can go home, but not basketball in this focus No, no different on the court So no, he's not improved at all and Anthony it was has tremendously, but I mean I still don't think it's much different than two It's just one work to already know no, I think the biggest difference I'm not disagreeing with anything your sense of but I think the biggest difference is the the level of athletic ability is truly What's up, raise them in them in time of the as well? Yeah, but to me at worst came into NBA ready body The mellows out case they got a girl a little bit got a hit the gym and we see natural growth But you could tell he's not he's not where he should be but to that If I was in two different type players because and there was a score But if you look at we seen it we seen in a couple games Yeah, I saw the other day against the Spurs the mellow put up a triple double easy like that not assisting the first half He's a passing wizard if you guys might have passed it to spurs And he's getting rebounds, but I'm saying the way he plays it and he's had other triple over too But in this particular last game, I'm resting in but he you know, you grab rebounds. He's doing everything He's doing all of it was and ever he is really the leading scorer on that team in He's doing a lot more he's grabbing rebounds. He's averaging almost five or six the game So he's he's let me down the Francisco times I've tried to beat him.
Oh, well They made a really good bear trade. Okay, that's that's why that was a mistake now and I once again when we talk about these trades We I told you me and that was stupid like what you put two big men in the way of him 100% and I think and I said it already And I think it's bound to happen. They got it like cat go cats only played 21 games this season Which obviously he made nobody's top list I didn't hear that man's name at all and I think that's Play maybe list piece of the list anyway really. Oh, yeah, I got a rebesalist stuff But um, yeah, me cat cat is if cat don't it don't read yeah cat is a diminishing product But at this point you got to get rid of them and get something in return because the Well, the go bear trade was sold egregious.
Yeah, anything in return This is be easy to list for the preseason and this is and currently I'm gonna go really currently because it only Censory preseason with the bigs He got number five lorry marketing number four demand to sub onus number three joker two and be the number one Yannes he combined power for is incentives for he has a small for his list at number five he got Ben Chiro Number four he got PG 13 number 3 KD to tatum and one bran for shooting guard He has number five demar de rosen number four deaf and booker three Anthony Edwards two jaylin brown number one donna Vermitu and point guard number five. Yes, f curry for john marin three shay gill two dame and number one luka Damn look at number one. Yeah. All right.
Let's go back to the suit destination Tsh J I agree with Nick Ken and Shelton lovey smilford had to go to college after going to a Super Bowl Jessica I'm back to the league and be a lame duck coach Come on Lou right wing Lou you gotta at least give me that I mean a man want a super bowl he never he gonna get a job, bro. So yeah Super Bowls can't get a fucking interview. Yeah, it's wow they get an interview for the satisfied a really rule But that's it dream of water the problem with the dunk contest is that there aren't many true dunkers in the league the three Ballers of the new dunk so most players are shooters now name a dunk over 25 that didn't participate in the dunk contest already Name a player over 25. They didn't participate already LeBron is the biggest LeBron KD.
How does John? I was he KD doing that though. Oh, okay. He could do it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah I never did it. Oh, yeah, I know it's hurt. No Josh should do it Anything don't is LeBron fault. That was it.
I'm not saying that's the bran's fault I'm saying absolutely he didn't want to set the tone because he would have been the biggest the biggest superstar I think if he would have done it no one can say I ain't gonna do it because they might hold on You ain't better than LeBron LeBron did it once he made them excuses all these other goofy ass makers They do that not even Mitchell. I thought he did Mellow kid by shelter logic who better Tim Duncan or LBJ because they are both forwards LeBron who that's actually good. Who's better didn't tell me every piece of talking one. I did I didn't do it that way Mellow I did power for it and sit us together and smile for it I did bigs and just ready for it's like smart for it.
Yeah, that's how I did it But still the answer to the question LeBron. Yes to Duncan had a Hall of Fame coach named one of the brothers at Tyler He made Tyler he made Tyler he made Tyler. He took every rookie head coach I was not going to all of them. He's about to take these clippers to the chips Hey, he better watch Did already Jackson That Peter pop off water That's interesting question.
I got underrated career He does man. I'm a he was just a goofy ass nigga doing it. Yeah, he wasn't dominant as LeBron. No, I'm sure he went all the rings On the I got by Tim what you gonna buy twice It was a ray They lost the year before and they came back on a venture and they put them hands on So deep that's what we want against against the bronze table bro Tim Duncan 99 Robson Oh, nine It's like over the other year CP wanted to go to Phoenix because a book so did Katie y'all tripping on us Everywhere Katie went to California.
We was leaving Katie's making sure he's staying in the legal states He went to two different teams before he went to Phoenix if you want to go to Phoenix he could have been went there Alright, so they got in here Philly. She dream of water and HLVN and Terrence 99 0 3 0 5 0 7 and 2014 those are those of the years he won 15 years apart Tim Duncan Yeah, man. Yeah, and his best squad was On the beginning and end and it really was still only to him, you know, them other guys were good But they were like they picked up Tony's on the last three right man. It was nice But you know he played perfectly him and Tony played perfectly off Tony developed and Tony became that guy because I you know Was Avery Johnson Sean Elliot David Robinson Duncan so he was there after that he was there after that No He went to Michigan Indiana, Roanam look great pop of it's a That was a long time to be good Yeah, yeah, it took five seasons Yeah, the first like three like by the third season He was only averaging like nine points.
It was like he went from nine to like 14 to then like 18 So it took him like five years and here's something that Steve Kerr the GM when he was a GM of the Phoenix sunset He said sometimes players can be better than what you think they are depending on the situation and sometimes players They're not in the right situation. Kawhi Leonard outside of San Antonio that that can afford him that time to develop and not have Expectations on him to like deliver that helped him out to get to where Kawhi is now Which again goes to the three to five he would have went to a trash team It would have gotten that type of playing time it been the guy he wouldn't learn how to play the right way I'll never forget this before before you move on. It was something that great pop of it said about Kawhi He said Kawhi didn't understand to be a great player until he understood when I called the play for him It wasn't always for him to score. Yeah, I called your number But it doesn't mean that you have to score this way so he started thinking the game bigger Kawhi did that time he wasn't instance I Don't want to say me y'all tell my joker Reckoning god, it's y'all fault.
It's y'all be trying to tell y'all this Oh, yeah, Joker is ball in nobody's balling like Joker. All right, man. Dream more water We know somebody like a Kyrie and Paul Georgia two of the most overrated players in the game today Everybody talks about their skills more than them impacting their team I can dream or what I agree with that. I do because we do do it.
We do that a lot We do put Kyrie on his level like he's just that that that's basically Paul George he gets his play on P8 But Kyrie don't get enough smoke for the time to he disappears I mean, but does he disappear a big moment? I think I read like if your expectation of Kyrie is to be the main like the reason why we win like knight in knight out Like if we're a 60 win team Kyrie's not gonna be the reason why you want 60 games But Kyrie could be the difference of winning a championship or not winning a championship I think Kyrie is the best Robin in the game. He's not the number one guy. He's not I think he is Not cuz he's not consistent enough.
He's not there. No, what what was he like when it matters the most in the Last year, they robbed me Alfred Needy I'm gonna say he's a champion. So I mean, he proved that he was close to me I see the most of the shots in history. Yeah, even So we're doing revision history.
Oh, we talk now Even even totality he disappeared too many times for me. I need a consistent two-parent household. I can't do this Consistency yeah, he got that dog. Yeah, no, he got that dog What are you talking about?
You got a thought super chat about that. Let me pop this up I can find it before CD said with that logic before what it was been failed in Golden State What logic does he have a three to five? It was probably after you was on my three to five expectation Like he's going into a situation where there's expectation for him to perform and they need him to do a specific thing versus him Having the freedom to figure out what he is in the league for that Golden State warrior team I need you to do this and I need you to do it at a top three level Golden State too good for him to figure it out exactly because they need it now That's why he can play any choice you figure it out exactly. I'm gonna take you out But if you can't do it, bro, you gotta move you gotta move you gotta move It sounds like a bust to me.
I don't think I don't think You can't figure out what we drafted you but we had all this time and dating research to figure you out Yeah, it's about time move on as a bust Their focus isn't developing they focus is like They do develop people but the thing is is that what James Wiseman he his potential is so great right and Where it was an offer for Golden State They should have been drafting that high and then the other two people that they could have gotten well Obviously Ant went number one of them. Hello. It's kind of like it's just a redundancy of what they already had because they already had You know, I'm saying so it sounds like you should have traded the pick they could have traded the pick but I think that stylistically this made the most sense yeah, but but but it's just it's one of those things and against what Steve Kerr the GM said back when he was in Phoenix and also what's his name? Who just came from Boston that he's not a Utah Danny age?
He says he talks about this a lot timeline James Wiseman's timeline is different than the other youngins that they had right like Caminga He's not getting into his own what year is it three or three? You know what I'm saying? Wiseman, but Caminga is playing in a no no in position as basketball Why we need you to be this specifically? But he can't pick it up well Here's the thing with that too initially Wiseman was a luxury pick One hundred because we talked about where Golden State was when they drafted him the fact that that came out of nowhere He was the biggest upside player that you could take at the time although he hadn't been on court hardly any in College, you know, he hadn't played really since high school and when he got there It's like okay, we got all the time in the world and all of a sudden we need to rush him Yeah, and in the development is way too slow.
Yeah, and the pressures on he can't handle a pressure They got a yacht when they live in the desert And see what curse that was when was hurt too, so he was definitely hurt But it's hurting college and he was hurt here. Yeah, but At the end of the day, you know, wise when I think and I told you this too I think he's in a really good position because at the end of the day you're gonna pay that man market You know price and they will see if somebody even wants to offer him a restricted free agent deal. Yeah, see we can play Why is the NBA still flaunting nasty man alone and the story came out with nothing? Yeah, you know, what he's thinking about getting a 13-year-old Bring it.
He said that they damn business. They asked him it. Oh wow. He said one other damn business.
Oh, you know, this this new They don't play nowadays back in the day that kind of now they're going right. We need to know what you were doing, bro And think that's why he's still in Utah. Yeah, he's in Utah. He stays out there Last one Daniel Jones from 5s and stuff Daniel Jones is allegedly seeking at least 45 million a year 16 games I won't pay him 45 You're gonna get your boy Here's a thing to us who ever signs him is gonna be the fool but to him You know what thought he was gonna make the playoffs.
I don't have win a season level beat the numbers What you see an NFC he got some sort of say no hell no That's what I say look We gonna get you this franchise tag if somebody wants to compete that if not you can come right back I don't see Daniel Jones in a panther black Commanders need it I didn't have 16 pick first round the commandos. I'm trading up to get Richardson Ruben. What's his name? Riviera he already has seen How is they get I'm in the four with Sam Hall I'm saying in that first round if they can move up to get the kid from Florida Go get that kid Airbnb should have knew they was crazy when they see the same house.
They should walk away, bro You go from the homes to Sam how I think you look at everything else, but how he said we go replace his name bro You can't that you got store with Sam. First of all, so this is a knock-off in shots down. He is gonna be great Who Sam? I say Airbnb can make him great, then he will be great.
He's got your top 15 Sam How was I average or they shitty that they gonna fire Riverboat Ron and he'll be a coach and they go out Sam Fucking around anybody trying to play with that bullshit ass nigga, bro That was it that was it damn 45. Yeah, he gonna get that though 45 The pay for it who the Jets yeah, they want to get their car in a project on pay 40 some but they better than Joe exactly I'll take Derek car in New York all day for dang Jones 100% He's more athletic that's what I'm saying Derek. I should go to the Saints Why why about you most any of the Saints because they play his best indoors. He's terrible outdoors.
They've shown the stats from that He's terrible indoors too. They better. He's better indoors than his outdoors In Carolina and Tampa nobody need it don't get cold in Tampa. You call in Carolina.
I don't know. Oh, I don't even sure Carolina real place Well, all right, that's it that is the show so this is where we have 23 games left and then we'll be in the playoffs So yeah, we got also the draft coming up soon and other stuff I bring training in the Masters and the NCA's well There's another getting called into the thing with the gun I think it was like recruiting thing because like the police say they can't charge him anything So why is the story even out? I just get out it can't charge anything. Why are you telling me that?
