In this episode, Tom Jacobs brings his golf clubs to start U.S. Open week with me. We discuss the PGA Tour/LIV Golf/DP World Tour merging together and its impact on golf. Then we look at Los Angeles Country Club, which will host the first major in L.A. since the 1995 PGA Championship. This course hosted the 2017 Walker Cup, which Scottie Scheffler and Collin Morikawa played. Amy time a golf tournament is in California, Max Homa is always a threat. Four of his six career wins have come in California. Then, we look at our favorite golfers to win the U.S. Open. Who is in golf's Big Three? Do we agree on which golfers would be our favorite bets and DFS golfers? Before our OAD picks, Tom tries to stump me with some U.S. Open trivia. I respond with my question for him. Afterwards, we give our picks to win the U.S. Open at LACC. Tom likes Victor Hovland, and I like Scottie Scheffler.
