I've seen things I wish I hadn't seen.Just the thought of your amazing grace, and I cry, jesus, forgive me. Jesus, I thank you today for your forgiveness, that you make it possible for us to be reconciled with you and Abba Father.Please help us to choose, and to desire to be reconciled with you, our Creator and the source of all that is good, and everything that we truly desire. Jesus, please correct all of our wrong ideas about forgiveness... that it means the removal of all consequences. Thank you for removing my eternal consequences, but help me to accept and to bear the consequences that do remain, and are still less than I deserve. For all of the ways in which I think that I'm actually pretty good and don't really need much forgiveness. For all of the ways that it is easy for me to see the sins of other people, but I'm blind to the sins that my family and the people close to me is obvious for them to see. Please take the log out of my eyes. And for all of the ways in which I still say no to you, and all of the ways in which I still simply try to use you to get what I want. Jesus, please forgive me and help me to not simply feel bad, but to understand and to be renewed of my mind and to think and to choose differently, to truly repent of my sins. Jesus, please help all of my loved ones today with all of our struggles with being forgiven and offering forgiveness. Help us to understand your forgiveness more fully today. Please bless us in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
