Come on, fix your eyes ahead. Our Father's dawn will light our day, our day. Come on and, stay strong. His grip is sure and His patience still endures. There'll be no letting go today, no way, Jesus, I thank you that there is at least one song like this for every hundred songs that there are in the opposite direction that say eff everything and to hell with everything. And, Jesus, I come to you today and I'm not strong. My faith is thin, my hope is thin and my love is thin, and I see your patience as a negative thing. And I come to you with critiques and criticism about how you are handling or failing to handle things, and I see your patience as inaction when old wounds are reopened and ripped open and I find that they have not healed, but they are still there. And I've attempted to blame you for inaction in that, attempted to blame you for so many things. Jesus, I ask your forgiveness for all of my critiques, but I do think about what I would encourage my children when they face the real trials of life, and I do tell them to invite you into every part of their lives and help us to trust that you can are able to hear our criticisms, that you are big enough to take it, and chances are that you've probably had worse. Jesus, please save me from myself today and please fix more of our wrong ideas about you. Please help us to keep coming back to you in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. I love you so much!
