Jesus, please teach us and save us from all of our bad habits, from all of the ways in which we do distort the facts. Please save us from all of the lies that we are told and that we believe. Jesus, please save us from our wrong ideas about freedom, for all of the ways in which we smash our heads and our shoulders into walls and run off of cliffs and then curse the ground and curse the walls for not yielding. Please give us the freedom to enjoy creation and its beauty as you created it, rather than trying to sing back to you "anything you can do, I can do better. I can do anything better than you." Jesus, at the start of this day, please help us to give our hearts and give our trust back to you, to correctly order our loves and to neither look forward nor look back, but just for a few seconds to be in your presence. Jesus, Mary and Joseph, all you holy men and women, pray for us in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. I love you so much!
