2024-11-24 "If Anyone Is Thirsty..."

John 7:37-39 is a well-known scripture, in which Jesus calls on the crowd to come and drink from the living water He provides for refreshment. Helen Cannon gives us important background for Jesus' invitation. More importantly, she reminds us that the Spirit of Jesus still cries out to see if anyone is thirsty -- promising to meet the deepest need of our lives: forgiveness, cleansing, healing, abundant life. He declares that anyone who is thirsty is qualified to receive.
