2024 Week Eight Roundup 10-29-24

Rundown of week 8 of the 2024 football season. Things are starting to gel in the divisions as we approach the midday point in the season. Some of these teams have to start thinking of how they can pull out this season, including Dallas, Cincinnati, Las Vegas, Cleveland, New Orleans, Carolina, both New York teams, New England, Miami, Jacksonville and Tennessee.  This weak's squeakers were determined at games' end, but one in particular, the Commanders/Bears matchup was determined with :00 on the game clock, and a helluva hail Mary! Officials need to do a better job beacuse a key non-call hurt Minnesota's chance of a last minute tie to be dashed by a Safety, and really a non-call on the face mask that would have kept their drive alive. KC is still undefeated and picked up another Chess piece in their game to repeat Super Bowl wins. Detroit has shown that they are the ones to beat in the NFC as they spit out another unworthy opponent. Dallas has some soul searching to do if they are going to make a run for the playoffs in a dominant division led by Washington and Philadelphia (surprised? Us too).
