福衛8號衛星搭乘美國太空探索公司 SpaceX於2025年11月27日升空的獵鷹九號運輸者15號火箭升空，這枚火箭之任務酬載竟然多達140顆衛星(包含軌道轉移載具)。第一批衛星將在515公里高的太陽同步軌道(SSO)釋放部署，台灣福衛8號衛星就在這批衛星中。第二批衛星將部署在更高的570公里高之太陽同步軌道，其中包括台灣的齊柏林衛星。 -- Hosting provided by SoundOn
