2025 Patient Privacy Findings

Analyzing 254 provider and payor websites, the audit shows a decline in Google Analytics 4 usage, a rise in server-side tagging, and improved compliance as Universal Analytics is removed by many. However, risky practices persist, with 29.92% of sites still using at least one conversion tracking pixel and some relying on non-HIPAA-compliant form tools.
