from Memòria i Patrimoni (La República Santboiana)

Seguim commemorant el centenari de la "Biblioteca Popular de Sant Boi" i, avui, a les portes de Sant Jordi, ho hem volgut fer tot recordant una de les iniciatives més reeixides -dintre de les seves polítiques d'extensió cultural- com fou el tema de les publicacions pròpies. A banda d'alguns butlletins solters i d'un quadern dedicat a recollir les ponències d'uns cursos d'extensió agrícola, i un magnífic quadern d'homenatge, editat pel seu 25è aniversar (1951)i, foren 9 els llibres editats des de la Biblioteca entre el 1948 i el 1979. Uns materials sorgits de les plomes de Xavier Bonfill, de Mn. Frederic Clascar, de Manuel Goicoechea i de Carles Martí, i que van esdevenir cabdalss, des del dia 1, a l'hora de formar a les generacions de postguerra, Carles Serret i Bernús Arxiu Històric Municipal de Sant Boi de Llobregat Dijous 9 d'abril de 2026
