2026 Lenten Reflection: Day 7- The Call to Sacrifice

We continue on our Lenten Reflection: Day 7. It consists of a reading, reflection, and then we end in prayer. I pray that this is a blessing to you this lent      Day 7: The Call to Sacrifice Sunday, February 22 “Then Jesus said to His disciples, 'If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.” (Matthew 16:24) Sacrifice is at the heart of Lent. As we give up certain comforts, we are reminded of the ultimate sacrifice Christ made for us on the cross. Reflection: What is one sacrifice you can make today that will draw you closer to Christ? Offer it up with love and gratitude. Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your sacrifice on the cross. Help me to make sacrifices that honor You and bring me closer to Your heart.
