2026 Midterm Elections

The 2026 Midterm Elections are quickly approaching, occurring on November 3rd, 2026. Traditionally, the party in office scrambles to shine-up their missteps while the party out of power steps in to save the day. It is a ritualized political dance, one that is aimed at maintaining balance within the American Government. This year is no different, after a Republican sweep of government in the 2024 Presidential Election, the Democrats are predicted to make some gains in the Senate (and maybe the House). The Republicans have a lot to account for, such as continued rising prices, an unpopular war, and aggressive deportation efforts. Will the Democrats convince the American people that they are the better bet and win? Will the Republicans play the voter fraud card and dispute the election results? What will it look like to reach the Opening Day of Congress on January 3rd 2027? We are in for a ride!
