Additionally, the fourth-seeded Los Angeles Lakers will host the fifth-seeded Houston Rockets. Despite earning a top-four seed, the Lakers enter the postseason severely hampered by crucial injuries, positioning the Rockets as heavy betting favorites to win the series.Off the court, fans will experience a dramatically different viewing landscape for the 2026 playoffs due to new 11-year media rights deals.
