2026 Roland Garros Men's Qualifying Brainstorm: Full Bracket Thoughts & Storylines

from The Challenger Corner · host Raz

In contrast to a traditional preview, I tried to verbalize my thought process behind my Roland Garros men's qualifying brackets, something I've been doing since I came across 2 qualifier prediction tweets for every Grand Slam 4 years ago. Since I couldn't come up with 16 names without imagining, I imagined various scenarios (and storylines), considering various factors. Again, I'm neither a player nor a coach, but I'd like to share my observations, what I thought were possible storylines, and the way I saw the entire draw; thus, I'd rather call this episode a brainstorm.By the way, I've been covering the Challenger Tour and other lower-tier circuits as a fan, so if you enjoy the podcast or the overall work, I have a support link. No pressure at all, but it would help support this project.Ko-fi: https://ko-fi.com/stateofsport211Buy me a coffee: https://buymeacoffee.com/stateofsport211Episode notes:0:00 Intro (how Slam qualies work)3:03 Origin story (of why I did the entire bracket)4:14 Disclaimer5:41 Section 19:48 Section 213:33 Section 317:48 Section 422:20 Section 526:41 Section 629:03 Section 732:59 Section 836:58 Section 939:57 Section 1043:30 Section 1146:38 Section 1251:20 Section 1356:28 Section 141:01:15 Section 151:06:55 Section 161:12:39 Closing
