This Bengals team was described as hurt and defensively lacking as of last year. By the end of the season their defense got better but couldn't overcome missing Joe Burrow. In the 2026 season they will play a 3rd place division schedule with Joe Burrow coming back which will obviously make a dramatic difference to this team. The Bengals have also had several key acquisitions on defense this season which should be an immediate help to their team.
