In this episode, we examined what it means for a man to be natural and supernatural. We learned from our pastor that you cannot engage the spiritual if you have not learned to handle the natural. Before Adam ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, sin was outside the world of man, even though it was on earth. However, after disobeying God and eating it, sin entered the world, and greatly influenced how we see and use things in the natural. Men of old were able to use the natural things that can be seen to understand things that are unseen (Romans 1:20).Furthermore, some of the things we have normalized in our world today were not normal in the beginning. Mastery of the natural means learning to operate it by faith, that is what makes a supernatural man. Terms like “what if”, “in case” and “but” should not be used by people of faith. We should be able to fully trust our lives in the hands of God because He would never mismanage us. In addition we examined examples of some natural and unnatural things in our world. Some examples of natural things are: working, getting married, having children, aging etc. In contrast, some unnatual things are: laziness, hatred towards marriage, homosexuality, fornication, solitary living etc. As believers, we should be able to examine the thoughts we have and identify which is natural and not natural. Finally, we were reminded that it is okay not to be perfect. Perfection belongs to the spiritual and can be found in God. We were reminded to always remain content, and be thankful to God for what we have.
