In this episode, we dive deeper into understanding how handling natural affairs properly affects our spiritual growth. Our pastor started by briefly discussing how science is supposed to discover what God made. Science itself does not create rather it confirms what God created.The way we are to relate with the natural world is by faith. As Christians we need to be careful with western ideologies so it does not constitute how we view the things of God. Our pastor also spoke extensively on how our generation loves convenience and does not want process. We also take those habits with us in our walk with God. We sometimes do not like the processes the are involved in our spiritual growth. We were advised to not put ourselves under duress for growth. To grow spiritually, you need to go through processes which requires time. Our faith in God is meant to reculture how we think. The faith life has its own laws which are not cultural or religious. We sometimes incorporate cultural beliefs and practices into our walk with the lord and it should not be so. Lastly, we emphasized what true beauty means as a believer. We should exalt inner beauty over outward beauty. This does not mean we should not care for our external appearance but rather we should cater more to our inner beauty because external beauty is vain.
