(2026_07_18) - Understanding the World to Come - Seniors & Grad BM - Pastor Israel Ajiboye

from Gadites USA · host GaditesUSA

In this episode of the Gadites Seniors & Grad Brethren Meeting, we began expounding on the world to come. It was established that heaven and earth will pass away (Matthew 24:35, Isaiah 51:6). This will happen not because of sin, but because the present heaven and earth were never originally created to last forever. They will eventually vanish to make way for the new heaven and the new earth.Additionally, it was shown that the world is different from the earth. The earth is the physical space we live in, while the world is the system that governs it. The world is the understanding that teaches men how to relate to things on the earth. Before the fall of man, Adam used a world called the ‘living soul’ to govern the earth. After his disobedience, Satan became the god of this world and designed a different system for man to live by. Furthermore, we saw that worlds are framed by words (Hebrews 11:3). God’s original intention for the earth was for it to be the place where men would receive the words of God that would frame the world to come in the souls of men. This is the purpose of the teachings of the New Testament. He intended for man to live by the understanding of the world to come until the new heaven and earth come. Without this, the present age will not pass away. Everyone who is born again is a citizen of the new earth because we became new creatures at the new birth. But we must journey in receiving and obeying the teachings of the New Testament to determine our place and rank in the new heaven and new earth.
