(2026_07_25) - Understanding the World to Come Part 2 - Seniors & Grad BM - Pastor Israel Ajiboye

from Gadites USA · host GaditesUSA

In this episode of Seniors & Grad Brethren Meeting, we continued our study on the world to come. It was reemphasized that the heaven and earth will pass away to make way for a new heaven and a new earth. We also saw that the angels in this present heaven are not clean in God’s sight because they have thoughts and ways that are lower than His (Job 15:15, Isaiah 55:8). Therefore, Jesus was made higher than the heavens by acquiring all of God’s judgment, which consists of His thoughts and His ways (John 5:22). We also have a call to do the same.Furthermore, we saw that the world refers to how a person views and relates to the earth. The world is beyond a physical space; it is a culture by which people live on earth. No one was born with the present evil world inside them. Rather, the world is taught and learned by men through the systems we interact with daily (Ephesians 2:2). Corruption is a worldview the course of this present evil world teaches. In the same way, the world to come can be taught to and learned by a people. God wants to bring us into His culture by making known His thoughts and ways to us. He desires to frame the world to come in us by the teachings of the New Testament (Hebrews 11:3). Unfortunately, sin has prevented us from seeing Christianity as a process of learning about the person of Jesus (Matthew 11:29). As believers, we ought to be schooled in the life of the world to come while on this present earth. This is the only way to become like Jesus.
