娘の保育園で「子どもチャレンジ」という行事があるらしく、昔のお泊まり保育の代わりのようなものだと知りました。夜まで保育園で過ごしたり、肝試しのようなこともあるらしく、お化け好きだけど怖がりな娘は大丈夫かな、という話からスタート。その後、2025年から2019年まで、1年前〜7年前の日記を振り返りました。保育園の面談、転職活動の面接、育休中の赤ちゃんのお世話、夫婦喧嘩、義母との関係、日記を毎日書くこと、朝起きることなど、家族の生活の細かい記録を読みながら、その時のことを思い出して話しています。
