203 - Meltdown Schmeltdown!

from Back Of The Net - The AFC Bournemouth Podcast · host Back of the Net - The AFC Bournemouth Podcast

This season, Bournemouth are three points better off than the equivalent games in the previous campaign, and with a style of football that is making the media talk about us, Boscombe are once again proving to be an exhilarating watch. In some quarters though, there is concern, and even criticism, as it is now ANOTHER week that has passed by without that elusive win. Of course, criticism from supporters is not unjustified, as Cherries have not been overly clinical so far. Any frustration is possibly understandable given Bournemouth do not have a "W" in the form table, but contrary to opinion - this shouldn’t be seen as any sort of meltdown amongst supporters. It's exasperating at times, but the bigger picture suggests there is still a LOT for Cherries fans to be excited about. It may be small steps, but small progress is still progress. Tom and Sam dissect the game on this week's Second Look, where they suggest that - fixtures will turn, the group will become more aligned with Andoni’s way of playing, plus big players will return to the squad. It’s not "panic stations" yet! Meltdown, schmeltdown! Thank you to everyone who has contributed to all our platforms.
