Welcome back to the Sports Radio, alongside me today. We've got Mr. Buckfield, Will Hickey, and Mr. Jono Nash.

You alright boys? Alright, yep, we're good. We're two weeks late, I suppose, on this video. But we've got shit to do.

I've been moving. Jono's getting hitched. We've got a new job, you know. There's things happening, so it's in that far away.

It's two weeks, come on now. You can let us up on that. We've done videos later than this. Yeah, definitely.

Yeah, so the Dickies Honeymoon Full-length video. So we're gonna do a full skate companion with that. Well, to be fair, we've already seen that, we've already seen it. We thought we'd...

You need to know what our take is on this video. It's an interesting brand coming into skating. So we need to really kind of just lay the law down if they've operated correctly in the skateboard industry. So the video is on...

I've got on YouTube. If you just type in Dickies Honeymoon, it will come up. With any skate companion, we just count down three, two, one, and then we'll press play together and we'll listen along. We'll probably get some adverts along the way, so just skip them as fast as you can, just to keep up.

No pressure. Anyway, so we're already boys. We're all lined up with the Dickies Honeymoon video. I'm gonna go for three, two, one, and we're all pressed play together right now.

You should have a burning thrasher logo come up. If you haven't, you're in the wrong place. It's a classic thrasher stint, isn't it? I do like this bloke at the start.

Just re... Do you reckon that was natural or planted? I think it's natural, mate. A lot of people do wear Dickies to be fair.

A lot of people do. I don't think I've actually got any Dickies trousers at the moment. I like Dickies jacket. I don't think I want any Dickies trousers.

Where will you go? Any Dickies on the go, mate? You must be a Dickies. No, I got a Dickies jacket on the go.

Yeah. A nice one. Do you want to know you got Dickies wallet or Dickies belt or any for me? Keychain?

No, I got nothing Dickies on, right? I do like the little names things that they have for all the people with the sewing machine. All fantasy brand. Yeah.

You know, being in a apparel company first, work, wear company and then finally, legitimately coming into the skateboard world. You know, skate has been using Dickies for fucking since its inception, probably, but... Yeah. They're a legitimate skateboard apparel company now.

Yeah. But it's got a good cast, though. Really good cast of characters. Solid.

The roster's crazy. I've gone out of it instantly. LAUGHTER Yeah, when you first, even you can take this, but when you... We're going to exclude Jamie for it in this.

When this video first came up and you saw the roster of skaters on it, who were you most kind of looking forward to seeing their shit? Tom Nox. Jake Hayes. Nice.

Nice. But Tom Nox as well, yeah. You know you're in for a treat when you've seen that Tom Nox name up here. Yeah.

Yeah, yeah. We definitely want to see some jk's clips over some bunk debate as well. Yeah. Mine was Dylan J.

He's my man crush at the moment, so... Nice. Yeah, that's fair. And he probably is.

I was thinking... He probably is my favourite skater at the moment. You know, just someone who's put a lot of parts out and his trick selection is on point. Yeah.

It's quite a young lad as well, I think. Yeah. He's just up and coming. Yeah, he's not even pro yet.

I was just going to ask. I think he was. But it's a nice... Obviously, can't forget Guy Mariano in there as well, but I do like this opening sequence where...

It is breaking out of characters, first of all, let you know who's in it. It's not just you have to wait for the name to come up in the parts. It's kind of like just laying it out. Just laying it out who you're going to get in the video.

And then it's pretty much like this inter-guy, right? That's how it works. I do actually like... Are you not that guy yet?

Yeah, I'm a guy, yeah. Yeah, but it's like a classic skate video. I mean, we've probably jumped into like end bit, but the fact that you've got that intro sting and it has that first part. It's like quite a kind of classic kind of girl chocolate thing where the intro blends into the first part.

Like the yeah, right, just smoothly transitions to the people. Yeah, and I think it's an audio-visual experience. It just helps you. It just blends it together so you're not going to wait for that hard hit of the first part, which I do like that, but it's a smoother transition.

Yeah. Less pressure on the first thing. It's just insane, isn't it? It's very impressive.

It's so impressive how he's continuing to kill it. Like the no-complied pressure double flip thing that he does. It just goes by like, yeah, yeah, that's just a trick I do, you know? Nothing to it.

Yeah, he's got that a lot mate. That would be a gimmick trick for him. Well, you've got the single flip version of that, haven't you? Do I?

You've got the... You can do a kick flip like a kick flip, no-complied. I'm sure I've seen you do that at the train station back in the day. Yeah, I've got a few of those.

Easy trick to do, mate? It looks quite technical. When you break it down, it's not as bad as it looks. You can kind of go for a kick flip, no one you're not going to land it, but you're fucked down kind of...

So we were at my kind of set at the moment, right? Yeah. John, are you a fan of my kind of son? Yeah, you know I am.

Well, I gave it away. I really don't think I've watched a lot of his shit before. He isn't just as gimmicky, kind of like converse skater that you might see on the surface. He's got a lot of switch game, a lot of tech, and then he's also just got your classic kind of tranny bank mashup.

But he does a fucking sweet frontside flip. Oh, mate, yeah, definitely. I've got a lot of respect for him. Yeah, no.

I think you've seen him on Instagram a lot, right? Yeah. And he's been doing like the pools or whatever the usual things that you would expect. But then in this video, you get a better appreciation.

Yeah, he's... I mean, you've guys for crooked, right? I'm sure he does. Yeah.

You don't get to ride for crooked if you're a base. You've got to be quite an all-round skater really to be on that team. Love how he pumps down that bank already hitting the frontside flip, Manny. Blessings with another one over a hit.

Yeah, he's... Oh, this... This, uh... I don't even have this...

What way he comes out with him? Yeah. Yeah, the transfer over to like the... Is he kind of hitting into like a...

Some sort of like nose pick sort of deer? Yeah. Yeah. That wallie over is lovely.

It almost looks like he's not going to make it until he just clips it. Yeah. How do you figure out you can do that though? I'm going to hit it.

I'm going to hit it at full speed. It's like, mate, why? Yeah. Watch.

Big street week. Yeah, he's just... Just a roof. Yeah, he should be doing that.

Um... It's empty. It's empty. It's empty shingle, so it's not too bad.

That wasn't legitimate tiles, so that's fine. I'm not digging the tune completely, but I know it fits the gimmick. I'm just going to be out there. Yeah.

It's almost like the empty papalado sort of situation. It's bad brains as well, so maybe that leaves a bad taste of my mouth. Um... It does fit it, and it's not a bad tune, and this trick here, that...

Blunt to blunt, whatever the fuck it was. That was crazy. That was switched as well. Like a switchtail, nose one, right?

Yeah. And now I'm just hitting Knox going down the mean streets of London. Look at those gaps and those slabs. That is...

It's just crusty. It would be like the food of a trays touch. You know what? You're going to get some really cool sparks of Tom Knox.

Yeah. Yeah, he's a strange skate because he's so efficient with his feet. Yeah, he skates crust. Like, normally those two things don't go hand in hand.

You're normally like a fairly smooth skate and you like to kind of do a bit of tech, but he finds the hardest places to try and do four pieces, or maybe a three piece with some weird shit in the middle of it. Because even like that, you know, throwing that gnoll-y nose manny on that curb spot. In the middle of line, that might not be as hard as easy as you think. Oh, yeah.

It's not like a gap out to the curb. Yeah. It's a rough curve as well. A grindable.

Yeah. Beautiful one, eh? Yeah. And what a line to come back around that tree.

Finish it off. Yeah. Yeah. Switch, front shove.

That posed my muscle and I was like, what the fuck is this do you like to me? Or really like that. I'd tell with the front side heel out. And that ledge, you know, brick fledges are always really hard to skate.

If possible at all. The back blood gap out. Yeah. How are you holding on to that?

Switch flip manny. Stairset as well. That's nicely done. Nice camera on that one.

Decent. Decent. That's not at all. And that tells us I don't have brick bang.

We've all, you know, Oxford's got a few of those. Those things are not nice. They are not nice to skate at all. So the hit tells us I was just stuck in in there.

Which word, you know, your back truck is going to be hitting those, I know it's been filled in a little bit, but your back truck is going to be trying to get into those grooves and it just slides down like it's nothing. Oh, I just hit an advert. Yeah. No, we've got old Vincent dropping in.

Into the river. I love that clip. Well, they're in the boat. Just coming fast and he just flies in.

So what, you know, I'm trying to be politically correct here or just nice. I was never the biggest fan of Vince Alvarez. When he had his sections come up, I was, you know, they were a skipper for me. Yeah.

But this part is really, really good. And then the appreciation I'm getting from the amount of switch that he does is fucking insane. Super insane. And then you forget which stance he is.

You just keep an eye on which way he's going and he does it in both like training everything. He is a top tier. He is a top tier skater. You know, he hits everything.

Is he goofy? I think he is goofy. He definitely has a goofy style though. No, no, he's just doing goofy shit.

He's regs. He's regs. Yeah. Yeah.

He just did a power push on regular. You're not doing that switch. Yeah, no, definitely regs. Thank you, big flip.

Yeah, that Nollie. That Nollie, he was a Nollie Hill, not fake heel. Yeah, I wasn't the biggest Vincent fan. Not that I was against him sort of thing.

I think when he come up, he come up around a lot of other people coming up at the same time. He's a kind of overcasted infamy. Yeah. I also feel like because in pretty sweet, he had the first part.

I don't think he's the first part kind of dude. Well, not after Mike Mo was the first part and fully fled. No, yeah. Yeah, big feels used to follow there.

Yeah. But his part is great. But that's not what you want to see first. No.

You want it in the middle to kind of break up the kind of tech heavy kind of big shit. Like I want to see a guy just blunt stall and big to the man. So he's sitting in a switch. Switch pole jam over that river.

You know, river there. Yeah. You start noticing things that you know, like that. Switch blunt.

Switch front board. Like he's pretty fucking decent. Here we go again. Switch.

Big switch. Yeah. I bet that spot throws you out as well. Yeah.

I like that on your arse. Yeah. Switch mode blunt as well. Mm-hmm.

But you can kind of see it the way he's riding. He's a little bit back pocket. Yeah. Yeah.

But really cool. A really good part from Vincent. I thought it's solid. Doesn't let the side down yet.

No one's letting the side down yet. And it's your mate now. It is. Oh, it starts up with sexy.

It's not. I bet he looks better in real life, Vincent. Yeah, definitely mate. Oh.

I bet it's the outfit choice as well. Yeah. Isn't it right? You got the blazers.

Black trousers. It's the clean. Exactly. Yeah.

A couple of brown trousers. But now it's just someone you know, using a kickflip properly. You know, just seeing like the healthiest backs I've got going. Super nice front.

I've hit in flip 50s. Beautiful fakey heel. That was ridiculous. Yeah.

You don't catch me doing one of them. Is that a fakey hard flip down that set as well? Oh. Fake flip.

Fakey manual. Yeah, crazy. The flip out of that switch. Crud.

Pre-driven text skills. Stomp the tray. The fakey tray out of that. Oh, I'm going to have it again.

Switch nose, grind, flip out. He's just, oh no trick selection wise. I don't think he nor he doesn't get anything wrong. You don't ever go that's a bit of a disappointing trick.

Each one always seems like it's the right thing to do at the right spot. That is fucking perfection. The accuracy on that make is, could you miss that? That's all your weight.

Bad times, yeah. Oh. He's good at the fakey manuals. He loves the fakey manuals.

That's really impressive. I love the switch. And then this is an orgasm right there. The 1640 perfect front side flip.

Oh, it's not a lovely friend. The snap as well. And they blest us with a double angle. Oh, switch shove.

It's absolutely beautiful switch shove. Just plops it around. Nose is a lively trick, so he doesn't want to get carried away with it. Oh, it's just perfect.

Yeah, he's one for future. I mean, he's obviously one for now, but what I'm talking about, that backside flip, that is 10 out of 10. Yeah. That's crazy.

Like, pre-rods picked a good one there, really. Yes, yeah. It's like, yes, you. Like we say, if you can throw a switch tray like that, you are of a certain caliber.

Yeah. You never disappoints any of his clips. Everyone next. I'm whole to have the sniff.

Yeah, Christian Henry. I like this guy. I like this guy. This part is really nice.

So do I. He's aggressive, but he definitely is just still kind of like picking the right things to do at the right places. He isn't just jamming, but a second jamming. Yeah.

You know, he's picking that spot just because at the up right at the end of the rail, so he could get over it. Yeah. Still got some super seconds' feet. The drop onto the 50 and then shove out of that rail.

Like the whole cat at the front lip, up that bank. I think he's still trying to work out his gimmick though, because I've seen fans and answers on his feet. What do you think? Is he more of an addy desk?

Geezer or would he fit some vans or his vans too on the nose? I prefer seeing the addy desk. Yeah. I think he fits the addy desk a little bit.

Yeah. Yeah. I think so. On him.

Yeah. Wearing a superstar is a nice dusky jacket number there. Blue hat. That's good.

Oh, that's a crook. That ride on crook. That was beautiful. It just places it.

Yeah. I mean, I mean, he loves the wallies. He's got a lot of control to get wallies like that. That was so precise.

Like I said, he's kind of closer to that kind of bank harsher, you know, Nick Biserio's style. Yeah. But he does have quite precise feet. You know, he's doing some shit that is the next level round and just slashing something.

Front nose to something else. Yeah. And that 50 round on the round. Yeah.

Rob a lock. Yeah. No twisted 50 there. No.

It goes real as well. Yeah. Yeah. Good fit.

There he is. He's got the Bump to Bar King, right? He's in a conversation mate. Maybe we need to do a Bump to Bar All Stars, but he's definitely in the conversation.

He's up there. Because, you know, Bump ratio, we're talking. He doesn't need a lot of a Bump, does he? And he can still handle business.

Even the smallest Bump he can handle business. Yeah. But the thing I like about JK, he doesn't seem like he's in much of a rush. You know, he's just doing, he's just doing his thing.

Still really, you know, he's got a good clean flip. You know, it's a slow flip. It's like a lazy flip. It's still efficiently powerful.

Yeah. But even that, you know, he's just when he lands shit. It's almost a Tom Penny kind of landing. The way that you kind of just, he's finished hands it down.

Yeah. And I just, I really like it. I feel like he would have fit in skating sort of 10, 15 years ago as well. Easy.

Yeah. It still works. I mean, there's song selection. I'm not quite sure.

I'm not sure who it is, but it all works, doesn't it? Well, I suppose it's got the Baker death wish kind of vibe just snuck in there. We do get treated to a Beagle clip. This is a Beagle clip come up now.

Shane Hale. And I'm sure Beagle gets his nose grind, which is so good. Yeah. Here he comes.

Shout out. Front shout out. Yeah. What a cool curbed ledge.

Oh, yeah. You play on that thing all day long. Nice kick with melon. He just floats.

He just floats. Yeah. He's got some serious hang time will. Yeah.

Serious hang time. The credit card on himself. Yeah. Textbook backtail.

Yeah. That's what you want to see in line. Yeah. Just the backtail.

And then frontside one eight back one eight. That's just what needs to be done there. Yeah. He's got the moves.

Flip from board. That's right over that bin. Yeah. It's like 10 foot above.

Yeah. Like you said, we're a pop to pop to pop to pop to pop. He's just, he's just like showing off, right? I mean, I've won.

A big sprint. Oh, that's beautiful. Huge Ollie. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah, that's no messing about. Hand on the ground, but it kind of have to. That's allowed.

Yeah. They've got Frankie. Yeah. I like Frankie as well.

His board is massive. Massive. That's the b. He's still throwing it around.

Yeah. Oh. Imagine if I was in those conversations with P-Rod. It's like, all right, I want the board this shape.

What? Just make that look really brand. Yeah. I want like a cruiser board.

I suppose it would be 10 inches wide. It's good business in a way though, because it just has that side of skating for the primitive to dip into. Without Frankie, you haven't really got it. He was on zero before, weren't he?

Yeah. I think it wasn't too clean when he left with it. No. No slide down that kinked hubber was incredible.

Yeah. It's a Bennett grind as well. Yeah. 180.

Yeah. Lovely. He is so diversified. Yeah.

You can pretty much do it. Take into your leg, take into your bank, take into your way. He's got it all. Yeah.

He'll be a good one in the tall van, wouldn't he? Yeah. Oh, it doesn't matter where you go. King of the road.

They need to do another one. Yeah. Yeah, they do. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. If you could pick a king of road, how many is it? Just three teams against each other.

Three or four was that? Yeah. Who would you have in there? Sorry, Frankie.

We're going over your part, but whatever. People can go and watch this shit. Lovely. You definitely have primitive, right?

Yeah. Def-wish. What, for Foy? Foy and JAs?

Yeah. And then... What's the other one? Toy machine?

So you can get Jeff Rowley on there? Yeah, he got a depth anymore. April, I suppose you can put them in there. Oh, yeah.

Have we moved on? Sure. Yeah, this is... Oh, yeah.

Was Zumson? No. No, Ronnie Sandoval. That's it.

Great. Great. I think he had a really bad... Do you have a bad knee injury or a hip injury?

Yeah. We have already seen two or something. That ramp looks quite nice for a concrete ramp. Yeah.

He makes all these ramps look nice for concrete ramps. And then if you were actually there, watching him skate, then we're just intimidating, leaving shit at you. You'd be like, no, no, not today. I don't even need to roll.

And then he goes to a handrail and then just grips it like a zoop. Yeah. We're done all across the uro gap. So not where there is.

Yeah. Skating pools makes zero sense to me. I don't know how they do it. No, don't ask me.

You've got to be in there. I'm one of those people. You know, you both people. You put me in some transition.

It's just I'm up there and I start turning. I don't know what I'm doing. It's not a kick turn or something. It's actually trying to cut.

I do not know what I'm doing at all. It's just I never ever learned it. I never will. I was not easy.

No. It's just the pool. They're like all vert. I don't understand why you stay in it.

A lot of bollocks. Oh, yeah. Just balls. Just to fly it.

And he's doing some of these with that knee brace. Yeah. They're going. And he's doing tricks like he's throwing a lot of nose grinds on vertical transitions.

And it's like that's the scariest thing you can obviously, you're apart from a blunt to fakey. Yeah. You know, that's pretty much the scariest thing you can do. That giant tombstone.

Nose fix it. Yeah, he does make transition because he's getting a lot of parts here as well. Normally, you know, we could give people a lot of shit for doing this, but he's getting a green light, isn't he? Yeah.

It's because of the caliber of trick he's putting out. You can't shoot on it. No, because when you're gapping across half the ramps to a nose blend. Yeah, mate.

Fill your boots. Yeah. Nice. Powering with the shit.

I'm not a fan of that. I'm not a fan of the sandal shot. I'm just going to put it out there. Yeah, I'm not needed.

Just do a barefoot. You can left that for the credit section. Love that though. That was called that hand plant kind of like rodeo sort of thing where he comes back.

That was really nice. And that was silky as well. That nose blend. Ah, it's dropped it down.

Big thanks, mate. So, yeah, yeah, really nice spot. And a little transition here. A little transition between parts.

Just using a spot as your location. Sandal sat down, you know, so it's old Frankie stepping up. I like it's a natural transition between parts. Yeah.

And I will say this part is legit. There's a lot of ridiculous heavy-hitting tricks. Yeah, he hits some big shit. He was showing off initially, isn't he?

He's declaring. Fucking hell. But he didn't scare them any rails. And then he huffing.

Trail lips. Oh. What's the answer to? Cause he's either switched to a lip or fakey flip crook to that round rail.

I think I was a switch straight. Okay. Yeah, that's not a switch noise, man, is it? So that's a fakey train to that, I think.

I've always thought it was a fucking... I can't tell what's the answer he is. Yeah, no, he's just on that huck out heel or whatever it was. Yeah, that flip.

That hill flip off the bump. The hill flip off the bump to start. That was a regular hill flip. That wasn't a switch here, was it?

I don't know. I'm saying he's right. He's got a switch straight. He's got to be rex.

He's just on half up. Yeah, back nose blunt. He's got to be rex. And then that...

He's rex, yeah. So that would switch straight lip. Yeah, you're in the switch hard flipping into that. Yeah, no way.

Oh, what's it? Is it on April? No. Alien.

Oh, yeah. Nice. I don't know where you are, but I've just seen his half flip into that bank. You way past that.

Yeah. What type of stuff do you know? Just talking... 33, 32.

I'll pause or something. No, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, just in a very real hill. Might be ahead of you now. Switch back to the right of that.

Just don't know either that grip. All right. We're much closer together. And then Nolly, Nolly Frontside flip down the fucking huge stairs there.

Beautiful. Yeah, he fought for that one. Such a nice trick. Oh.

Oh, a fakey nose grind down that Brooklyn banks. He's just hitting two-me tricks down everything. Yeah. Train nose grind or over-quick weather.

You want to call it John? It's the knack. Oh, so yeah, switch those ones. Yeah.

Heavier's trick can do really. Cross the concrete ledge. Oh, no. No, Jamie's into the room, Mr.

What's he doing on this then? The thing is, this does not... Fish-eye inside there does not give you any information what that spot is like. Yeah.

If you were standing on the other side of the road and seeing what that looks like, you'd be like, not a chance is anyone touching that. Yeah. He's just a 50-year-in-a-5-0 first try. This reminds me of Rowley when he's skating that kind of like gap to down ledge.

Yeah. He is good. Oh, Jamie, for you. Oh, he's so good.

Yeah, I will say, I've watched this earlier. I don't think anyone can take skate really often this year. It'd be very hard. If this isn't a skate really video part, I don't know what it is.

Yeah. Just break each clip down individually and just tell me if there's anyone else doing more impressive and refined shit than he is. Yep. And the song fits so well.

Oh! From 50 down a handrail. Like it's nothing. Yeah.

No, I'm going to be a good skit. Skit so fast as well. That front shelf. Beautiful front shelf.

Hill. Crossy spot handles business. Ping. Oh, that hillflip.

That front side flip. So good. Front heel perfectly sets himself up and spins it all the way around. Yes.

Yeah. It's every clip. Every clip. Back to the level.

It's hitting the mark of a... Blonde back to flip. Yes. Like nothing's basic.

Nothing's basic. No. Let's wait for a basic clip to turn up because I don't think one's going to come. Even that wasn't basic.

No. I don't think one's going to come. No. Oh.
