As guys they told us we weren't suppose to cry, we're supposed to suck it up and "man up". And I get it, I'd rather believe that and try to act tough then be a coward yet we must remember we're humans too. I realized the power of vulnerability or as I like to call it personal honesty with something that happened on my college football team that you would never expect.
