Today were off to 21 and 23 Archdale Street were we will talk about Samuel Wilson and the two homes he lived in on Archdale Street. Dr. Wilson acquired the land though his marriage to Catherine Marian Mazyck. Wilson built 23 Archdale while living in 21 Archdale, Etienne Poincignon had purchased the houses, Mr. Poincignon was a wealthy immigrant from the French West Indies. Both homes were built with Charleston Grey Brick laid in Flemish bond pattern and both have fine Adamesue interiors.
