21 Angels

Divine Reckoning from Birmingham, England, perform their passionate, driving, and razor sharp 21 Angels. Lead vocalist/bass guitarist Mickey Scott told us, "We originally wanted it to sound like something from Thin Lizzy's 'Thunder and Lightning' album, but I miss Phillip Lynott too much. We used to mimic Lizzy's sound, but I just can't do it anymore. We need to be us, and this is us sounding like us. We're gritty and edgy, but we're a good bunch of blokes, despite what my mother-in-law thinks. She always hated me and told my wife Sheila to marry a doctor and not some low-brow musician."
