21. Building Conscious Friendships with Dyani Thiruchelvam

One of my greatest teachers are all my friendships. Some are only recent and yet there is a strong bond between us. Others are lengthy and have stood the test of time and survived because both sides evolved to allow the other to become who they are. Similar to how any romantic relationship evolves to allow both souls to reflect their growth. My friendship with Dyani Thiruchelvam has evolved this way. After 25 years of friendship both of us are in the space of spirituality and energy medicine. Dyani practices family constellation, eft and energy psychology, the latter is also the crux of the work that I do. Both of us have had to experience life changing circumstances that woke us up to our true potential. I chose to speak to Dyani today because she reflects a growth and the challenges that all women experience today, from working on themselves, to motherhood, to managing one’s relationship with their families who may not agree with the life choices we make but we know they are the best for us. Enjoy this conversation.
