Vancouver is known for many things; weed, beautiful people, weed, the outdoors, weed and of course our love of the gays! So it should come as no surprise that Vancouver will be one the first places to not only celebrate being gay but have a Hall of Fame as well.On Saturday September 19th, 2009, the Westin Bayshore Hotel in downtown Vancouver will be the place to be and be seen. The CIBC Pride Network and Qmunity have teamed up to present the first annual Q-Ball, a formal, red carpet, black tie gala fundraiser for Qmunity.The Q Hall of Fame will recognize those that have made significant contributions to the struggle for human rights and full equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered Canadians.And tonight on CabaRadio will be talking to one of the organizers of the Q Ball who will be studio to talk about why this event is so important and why it not only involves the queer community but the hetero one as well.As always upcoming event, groovy tunes and a few surprises!That's tonight at 11pm on CabaRadio 101.9fm or online citr.caHere's a fun game to play:http://www.squirtgame.com/www.qhalloffame.cahttp://www.facebook.com/pages/Q-Ball/108874951461?ref=mf
