Day 20 Prayer Point: Praying for Healing Scripture Reading: James 5:14-16 Jas 5:14-16 NIV Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. (15) And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. (16) Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. Notes: Take time to pray for the sick that you know and you don’t know. Pray specifically for those who might be sick as a result of this pandemic. Pray for spiritual unity amongst God’s people regarding all of the Covid related issues. Pray for mental and emotional healing for those who are in need. Mat 6:9-13 NASB “Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. (10) ‘Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven. (11) ‘Give us this day our daily bread. (12) ‘And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. (13) ‘And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
