Today's Passage: Matthew 9:18-22 Today's Prayer: Lord, as we go about our days, planned and scheduled, let our hearts not see discipline as our righteousness.  If discipline masks the idolatry of control, may we humbly submit to the perfect timing of the Lord.  May we imitate Jesus who embraced interruptions and those who were causing the interruption with compassion.  Let us remember that some interruptions are far more than delays – that You, in your perfect goodness, create holy divine moments out of what we are quick to consider interruptions to our day.
