#21 街區聲景：香港–三個市場連一夢／Hong Kong-and its three wet markets

今天我們很高興分享錄音師王梓健 (Peter Wong) 在香港的一些街區聲音採集，並發送給電台的眾耳朵星人！ 街-市-街-市，有街就有市。感謝王梓健的WAVINCITY (wavincity.com)計畫，讓我們得以造訪香港島、九龍和新界地區內，三個販售生鮮食材和果菜的傳統市場 (也稱「濕貨市場」)  這是本電台目前為止發送長度最長的一集內容，我們將一次造訪香港三處街區的傳統市場。聽那些嘈嘈轟轟雜雜，還有始終伴隨的人聲話語時近時遠，忽密忽疏；聽久了，彷彿市集與市集相滲相連了，變成集體記憶之流裡，一幕永遠正在發生的市井場景。 它們依照順序分別是： Today we are delighted to share some sounds recorded in Hong-Kong by field recordist Peter Wong. Thanks to his project WAVINCITY (wavincity.com), we have access to three locations on the topic of Wet Markets in in Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and New Territories : 1. 北角春秧街 North Point Chun Yeung Street 香港北角的春秧街是頗香港特色的街市之一，有「小福建」、「小上海」之稱，街道滿佈小販，以廉價售賣日常生活必需品和新鮮食材聞名。 這段聲音是在街市旁馬路中心位置採集的，捕捉到小販熟練而忙碌的叫賣聲。 此外，春秧街有一條電車軌道貫穿，聲音裡我們可近距離聽到電車駛過，和市場熙熙攘攘的聲音融為一體，營造出獨特的城市場景氛圍。 North Point Chun Yeung Street is one of the distinctive street markets in Hong Kong, known for selling daily necessities and fresh food at low prices. The recording was collected at the center of the street market, capturing the sounds of skilled vendors shouting and selling their wares. Additionally, there is a tram track running through the street, and on the recording, you can hear the sound of the tram passing by at close range, blending with the bustling noise of the market to create a unique urban atmosphere. 錄音日期 Recording Date: 2023/5/15 2. 牛池灣街市 Ngau Chi Wan Market 牛池灣街市，連接牛池灣市政大廈和鄰近設施：如文化中心、公共圖書館、及運動中心......等，從戶外區域還可以遠眺獅子山景色。 在這段錄音中，能夠聽到鄰近不同攤位上攤販叫賣的聲音，感受到人潮不斷地擁擠氣氛。 Ngau Chi Wan Market is connected to the Ngau Chi Wan Municipal Services Building and features facilities such as a cultural center, a public library, and a sports center. It also offers views of Lion Rock from its outdoor areas. In this recording, you can hear the sounds of vendors peddling their wares in different stalls nearby, and get a sense of the crowded atmosphere with the constant flow of people. 錄音日期 Recording Date: 2023/1/14 3. 元朗新街 Yuen Long Yuen Long New Street 元朗新街位於元朗市中心，西起大棠路，鄰近浮菜街/裕景坊交界處。整條街沿線的店鋪都是菜市場攤位，大量附近居民前去購買食物。 錄音中，可以聽到人潮湧動、菜市場叫賣聲、肉攤切肉的聲音，以及遠處一個攤位不斷重複的「快打烊了」的聲音。 Yuen Long New Street is located in the center of Yuen Long, starting from Tai Tong Road in the west and near the junction of Fau Tsoi Street/Yue King Square. The shops along the entire street are wet market stalls, and a large number of nearby residents go to buy food. In the recording, one could hear the crowds, the market peddling, and the sound of meat stalls chopping meat, as well as the repeated “Closing Shop Very Soon” recording from one of the stalls in the distance. 錄音日期 Recording Date: 2022/7/12 ( 照片由王梓健提供，攝於牛池灣街市 / illustration photo by Peter Wong, in Ngau Chi Wan Market ) –-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 耳朵星人/ 聲音採集 介紹 Biography : 王梓健是扎根於香港的音響工程師、聲音藝術家、及低音結他手，畢業於香港演藝學院舞台及製作藝術學士(榮譽)學位，主修聲音設計。王氏希望能夠跨出已被定義的框架，探索聲音與表演藝術的關係，超越藝術媒介和創造規範，將思想相互融合製造新的意念。 在2021年王氏成立了WAVINCITY – 香港城市聲音記錄計劃，以現場錄音方式捕捉和記錄人文聲景，讓聽眾感受不同時地人所產生的都市面貌，同時開放錄音成為藝術創作素材。王氏同時以Same Departure 之名創作器樂音樂，親自編寫、演奏、製作、錄音及混音歌曲，並於2019年推出迷你專輯《The Journey Begins Here》。 Wong Tsz Kin (Peter) is an Audio Engineer, Sound Artist, and Bassist based in Hong Kong, graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) Degree in Theatre and Entertainment Arts from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in Sound Design. Peter’s ambitions are to explore the relationship between sound and performing arts and disciplines beyond the established parameters, and go beyond an artist’s specialized medium with mutual transformation of ideas. In 2021 Peter found WAVINCITY – Hong Kong Urban Soundscape Recording Project. The project aims to provide another form of medium in addition to photography and video, allowing listeners to experience the soundscape created by the overlapping of time and place. In 2018 Peter started a Post Rock/Instrumental solo project, Same Departure, composing, producing, recording and mixing music material, and exploring different concept in the composition.
