#21 - Jordan Peterson’s Academy Expelled Students for Asking Questions

In this episode, we delve into the recent bans at Peterson Academy from the perspective of expelled students Frankie and Dusty. The Peterson Academy is an online academic platform co-founded by Canadian psychologist and author Dr. Jordan B. Peterson and his daughter, Mikhaila Fuller (previously Peterson), who has the role of CEO of Peterson Academy. In our conversation, we discuss what led Frankie and Dusty to Peterson Academy, what their early impressions were, how tensions started to rise, and how that eventually led to the expulsion of many students, and the growing fear of speaking out for some who stayed behind. Join us for an open, honest conversation about the Peterson Academy, the decisions its leadership made, and what the impact on the community was. Thank you for listening.   UPDATE: A few hours after this podcast episode was published, I was also banned. So while watching this episode, you’ll hear me say that I still remain, but it is good to know that this is now no longer the case.   SHOW LINKS: Support the Show   Watch on YouTube Listen on Apple Podcast Listen on Spotify   Follow on X Follow on Instagram Follow on LinkedIn   DUSTY MAY TAYLOR LINKS: Dusty's X Dusty's Blog Dusty’s Testimony   FRANKIE JOY BAILER LINKS: Frankie's X Frankie's Blog Frankie's Testimony   OUTLINE: 00:00 Intro 02:44 Path to Peterson Academy 12:38 Early Excitement 34:07 Peterson Academy Social Environment 01:18:20 Change in Atmosphere 01:33:57 Rising Tensions & Asking Questions 02:07:04 The Meme 02:15:24 Mikhaila’s Reaction 02:16:55 Community’s Reaction to Mikhaila 02:48:34 The Bans 02:59:45 Core of The Problem 03:13:11 What Could Have Been Done Better 03:23:06 Message to Peterson Academy 03:26:46 The Letter to Dr. Jordan B.
