21: Moon Eyed People & Judaculla Rock

This week Randa is going to tell you about a couple Cherokee stories of the Mooneyed People and Judaculla Rock. Plus the answer to last week's murder mystery! According to Cherokee legend the Moon Eyed people were a small, pale, light haired, and blue eyed people who inhabited the Appalachian mountains BEFORE the Cherokee migrated there. Legends of the Giant Judaculla, a 15 foot tall, slant eyed (his pupils were slanted in his eyes, like a cats almost), seven fingered man, say he ruled over the mountains of present day Sylva and you could not cross into his territory without his permission or following his rules. Do you love our Spooky Thangs?
