21. Season Finale: How I *BURNT* It All To The Ground & Why

from The Lauren Moroney Podcast · host Lauren Moroney

Welcome to the final episode of season 2. A behind the scenes into the moments that lead me to burn my current business to the ground and rebuild in a way which aligns with my truth, the season of life I am in, my energetics and ultimately ease and simplicity. This is an intimate and vulnerable episode of real talk - and the permission slip we all need to pivot when things are no longer in alignment even when it makes no logical sense.  From building an energetic business that felt effortless (which comes from mastery 😏), fun, impactful and which created incredible financial success, to making myself wrong for it being so easy and not logical and strategical, and believing from strangers on the internet that I had it all wrong.  From a business of simplicity to one where I believed I needed SOP’s, systems and strategies, a team, copywriters, branding, website, graphic designers, boujee photoshoots, marketing experts, coaches, mentors, more programs and masterminds etc to scale my business to the next level.  This left me feeling uninspired, self sabotaging, procrastinating, shaming myself, more employee than visionary and feeling like my business was no longer a space of creativity and joy, but a job with big ass responsibilities, loads of self doubt and a huge loss of confidence despite being overly qualified in what I do.In this episode I share how personal business can feel when we have triggers and projections we need to heal, how despite it all not working out for me the way I wanted it to, that it continues to be one of my greatest lessons and blessings as failure always is, how I use this last year to clean up me outside of business due to wanting to escape it all, what to do when business feels hard and how business actually gets to be simple and easy when we remove the external noise and comparison and learn to trust our own inner compass even when it makes no sense. This episode is your permission slip to know that everything is always working out for you and that you literally can not fck this up.  Nothing that we need is outside of us and it’s up to us to learn to listen to the nudges and do what is for our highest good and those we serve.…….If you love what you just heard, be sure to share it with me by leaving a review on iTunes and sharing it on your socials tagging me @laurenmoroney.co and make sure to check out my stories and highlights.Have some questions or would love to work together?
