Als ich zu Thomas Maurer komme, begrüßt er mich mit Robert Palfrader vom Fenster aus. Die beiden schreiben gerade an einer Serie. Im ersten Teil des Gesprächs sitzt Robert noch unhörbar auf der Couch, später kommt er kurz dazu. Thomas und ich sitzen an seinem Küchentisch und trinken Tee. Wir sprechen über seine Anfänge im Kabarett Niedermair und wie er zu seinen Themen kommt, seinen berühmten Auftritt in der ORF-Tafelrunde, in dem er über den Verlust seines Vaters an Corona spricht, und über die Reaktionen darauf, seine Begeisterung für guten Wein und seine erste Platte von David Bowie. Und natürlich auch sonst über alles Mögliche. Danach muss Robert gleich weg. Thomas zeigt mir noch den Billard-Tisch, den er zum Geburtstag bekommen hat.
