His work has been exhibited in Greater New York at MoMA PS1, the Whitney Biennial, and the Sundance Film Festival. He co-founded the artist collective The Bruce High Quality Foundation which was the subject of a 2013 retrospective at the Brooklyn Museum. Leary co-founded the tuition-free art school BHQFU where he was a director and teacher.
