When it comes to disposable, child-friendly entertainment, Illumination has been delivering it consistently for the last decade and a half.  Ever since Despicable Me was released back in 2010, it has been impossible to escape from Gru and his Minions. While the Despicable Me franchise has had 4 films, the Minions franchise has two spinoffs with the third now hitting cinemas: Minions and Monsters.
