#212 Japan's Emperor visits UK てんのうへいかのイギリスごほうもん

今週は日本の天皇陛下がイギリスを訪問しています。皇后陛下の雅子さまもご一緒です。 お二人は6月22日にロンドンにご到着になりました。 きのうはロンドンのホースガーズ広場で、歓迎の式典がありました。式典の後で、チャールズ国王ご夫妻と馬車に乗ってバッキンガム宮殿へ向かわれました。私はYouTubeで少しライブ映像を見ました。青い空がきれいで、とても華やかな式典でした。 お二人はイギリスでいろいろな所をご訪問されています。歓迎のイベントも行われています。 私の友人が、なんと、レセプションに招待されて参加してきたそうです。日本のテレビの取材を受けていました。 This week, the Emperor of Japan is visiting the UK. Empress Masako is also accompanying him. They arrived in London on 22 June. Yesterday, there was a welcome ceremony at Horse Guards Square in London. After the ceremony, they went to Buckingham Palace in a carriage with the King and Queen. I watched a bit of live footage on YouTube. The blue sky was beautiful and it was a spectacular ceremony. They have been visiting various places in the UK. There have been some welcoming events. My friend, to my surprise, was invited to the reception and attended it. She was interviewed by Japanese TV.
